B&B Hotel Madrid Airport

They are too strict when it becomes to cancellation policies. I accidently made a mistake in my booking for a day that I wouldn't be in Madrid, I tried to extend my stay but because of my searches the day before my presettings were wrong in the booking.com app. I tried to make a deal at the reception for staying a very expensive 140 euro night extra but they refused and just took my money for the mistake. Check out other hotels in the area because they offer better prices, better facilities and have better policies. THIS HOTEL? NEVER AGAIN!

I assumed it was in the airport and would take minutes to get there but €18 later and a 15 minute drive we arrived. Took 3 attempts to call hotel for shuttle as no one was answering. Only one guy on reception checking everyone in and answering phones. Took us 40 minutes to queue up to check in. Booked and paid up front on hotels.com and he said we hadn't paid, I had to trail through my online banking to prove we had for him to say oh yes I see it on here now :/. Basic room on 3rd floor. Aircon wasn't working so opened window. By time we got to room was after 1am was too tired to call and complain about aircon big mistake didn't get a wink of sleep as the road was sooooo very noisy. Next time will spend the extra to stay in a hotel in the airport or just make my way to city centre. Not overly impressed.

I stayed in this hotel just one night as I was arriving late into Madrid for a longer stay. I wanted to save a bit of money, and thought I would be too tired for the metro into town. But the taxi from the airport arrivals to this hotel was more than €25, so I might as well have just gone all the way into Madrid centro. The next day I walked for about 20 minutes, and crossed a highway with my suitcases via lots of stairs, to get a bus and metro into town - whole journey probably took an hour, possibly more... The hotel is of the bland motorway style, clean, and friendly enough, very basic, with no charm, and for me not good value for money.

Just a 10 minute taxi ride from the terminals (expensive @ 25 euros each way). Very clean, modern rooms. Each room has a lovely photographic mural on one of its walls - I saw three different ones ..... Free coffee from the machine close to the lift on the ground floor - it's good coffee too! There is a small bar (closes 7:00 - 7:30pm while the staff 'lay-up' for dinner) which sells Cruscampo beer, which is cold and wet but otherwise a bit like rain water (Ooops, showing myself as a beer snob again ..) The staff are absolutely delightful, attentive, helpful and very pleasant. Breakfast is a good continental buffet, but the evening menu is restricted to burgers or pizza - OK but nothing special. On one of the nights we stayed about a hundred American youngters descended on the dining room at opening time (7:30pm) so we walked over to the hotel opposite for dinner on that occasion - their snack bar was similarly limited in what was on offer. Be aware that this hotel is at the end of the runway - some rooms are noisy and yes, there are planes flying in the small hours. We had room 207 which was at the back of the hotel and quiet. Rooms with numbers in the 20s are at the front of the hotel which is where the aircraft pass close by ....

Pleasant hotel close to Madrid,(MAD,) airport. Takes around 15 minutes in a taxi.(Note: Taxi's charge an additional EUR20,airport induced surcharge on leaving.) Minimal noise from aircraft. Room reasonably spacious for a 2 night stay & bathroom to match. Bed comfortable. Air Conditioning controls were a little difficult to master & no instructions. Couldn't get the temp. down under 20c.Hotel has free Wi-Fi. Breakfast was a crowded affair with a large group students who all descended at the same time.(And breakfast starts late,0730.) Likewise, evening meals also didn't start until 1945 & again the sole waitress struggled to cope on the first night although a re-enforcement did eventually appear to help. On our 2nd night the same group of students descended en masse & it would've taken well over the hour to actually have got a table. Subsequently,I & a few friends ate at the Crowne Plaza Hotel immediately opposite. The hotel will order in take away food for you,Pizza's & the like if that is your liking. There are vending machines for drinks & snacks as well as one dispensing free coffee. There is an outside area in front of the hotel with tables, chairs in which to relax. However, this can be marred by cigarette smokers.

Located about a 15 minute drive from the airport. Reception was very helpfull and a quick check in. Rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast and evening meals are available in the downstairs restaurant. Hotel is close to a main road, but noise is low from traffic.

Ok I'll start with the ample positives, fast free wifi, decent free tea and coffee, clean & comfortable rooms. There's an in room pizza type take away menu that reception will order for you, the quality is good and prices reasonable. BUT Having read the reviews my eyes were wide open to the shuttle situation - i.e. There isn't one, and that really spoils this hotel. €20 for a 5 minute cab from the airport and for that you get attitude from the drivers who don't want the trip and pretend they don't know the hotel etc. As I say I knew about it before hand but it's a hassle and given the room rates aren't high a relatively high expense to get here. I think I better understand why they don't have a shuttle having stayed here, airport flyers don't seem to be their target market and large tour groups arriving by bus do. With regards to negative reviews regarding staff I would say yes - a couple of the people would be well advised to find a career away from the public, such was their disdain at having to deal with people - anything was too much trouble - that said the MAJORITY were excellent. Planespotters want rooms 420/421 for best views as reported widely - movements from Torrejon can be seen and tied up with SBS

Convinentily close to the airport I you do not have transportation, distance from city center is indeed a very big Problem. In that case it would be better to stay near city. Room are not too big nor too small but could have done without third extra bed in our room As the stay was short,so did not bother to get it removed. In case of longer stay get rid of the extra bed if not required. Coffe vending machine was in working order and dispensed coffe couple of times that we tried. Breakfast was quite nice and so was the staff . Our experience was much better then some others who were unhappy there .

A clean and basic hotel. In the middle of nothing really although 10 min from the airport and 5km from a shopping centre. I wouldn't want to walk here though. Very weak wifi on the third floor at least. The resturant has a good variety for this type of hotel but the food quality is not the best. I had a pizza and although it looked "home made" it certanly tasted off the shelf.

It's very simple and basic, but the clean and comfortable rooms are cheap and near to the airport for any who need a place to stay for the night. Our room had a light in the bathroom that wasn't working, but otherwise was in good condition. Breakfast in the morning is also nice, and there's a restaurant attached downstairs making for convenient meals.
