The room had mold in the shower, no non slip strips in the shower, filth on the wall by toilet, cigarette burns on the rug and furniture (smoking has been banned for 7 years, try updating rooms) and there were no hair dryers in rooms as stated on website. There was a huge stain on the chair the size of a honey dew melon. The cable TV had no guide and the on screen guide was so small it was straining to read. Just an overall dirty uncomfortable feeling.

We checked into the hotel and I decided to lay on the bed to rest. I pulled the covers back, lifted the pillow and a huge cockroach ran from under the pillow and disappeared between the headboard and edge of the mattress. I lifted the mattress and it was running around on the box spring. We changed rooms, but I was afraid to sleep in their bed.

The room itself was quite dated, but clean and worked well enough for me over a two-night stay. It appears that it is a popular destination for construction workers and other contractors because the entire parking lot was full of trucks, vans, trailers, and other construction-related vehicles. As a result, the staircases and hallways were dirty with mud and beer cans and there was almost no parking for any other people staying at the hotel.

College football game in town and hotels were booked up, except this one. Carpeting needed shampooing, made bottom of my feet black. Mold in the shower. Noisy small fridge in the room.

There was mold growing around the wall next to the toilet paper holder, that I wiped off. There was also mold inside the tub. The beds felt like they were made of cement, and there were dead bug bodies on the window sill. i realize that it was cheap, but even at $80 per night, I expected a little better.

Booked this hotel for the Great Taste of the Midwest. Hotel was clean and comfortable for the one night we needed it for. It was quiet and close to restaurants and shopping. Air conditioning worked well. Price was more than reasonable. Only complaint would be the pillows. They were very firm and felt like you were sleeping on a bag of sand.

Hotel room needs remodel as older and very worn. TV did not work, carpet had spots, wall scratched, etc.

Was just overnight stop on the way to destination. Selected hotel based on location and price. Did a very good job of meeting those two criteria. Decent value for the price overall

Easy drive to get to Epic when most everything else is full!

This hotel was a cheap alternative to the more expensive options around. No complaints here.

Room is dirty, nothing fancy. Its cheap for a night to sleep.

The staff are nice but the bedspreads have holes and it is underneath buzzing high powered electric lines.

Smoking has been banned in Madison for 5 years yet that blankets had cigarette Burns in them. The carpet had Burns also.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The noise from other rooms was minimal. Had a good nights sleep.

This is a no frills place to stay. It does have a fridge and microwave but no coffee maker or hair dryer, Clean but shabby. The continental breakfast had coffee, juice, several pastries, English muffins and bagels. If you are only there to sleep its a good deal. It's close to a mall and lots of places to eat. There was even a Starbucks no more than 5 min. away.

Staff is good..!!! Average ambiance.... Best place for low cost..!!

This is an older motel - they still have key locks! But the room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. I could have sworn our bathtub was brand new. One of my best "cheap motel" experiences.

This is a basic motel which includes a decent, basic breakfast for a reasonable price. Although next to the Interstate, our room on the side away from it was quiet. The hallways were a bit dark and dank, the rooms and furniture a bit worn but clean. The fitted sheet was a bit small for the bed. There was ice available, and the room included a small refrigerator and microwave that both worked. For a short stay during which we were mostly out and about, it worked just fine.

Definitely not a relaxing getaway location, but if you are working with a tight budget the staff are nice. It is a little lower quality then Motel 6 but still workable and I stay there regularly to save money while visiting Madison.

nothing fancy-----but well maintained & comfortable. simple continental breakfast is provided. very close to bus line & major shopping mall. many restaurants in the area & property is adjacent to a fast-food restaurant any room issues are addressed in a timely fashion. a BONUS is the on-site laundry facility! GOOD VALUE FOR PRICE PAID.
