Staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly! The grounds are clean and it's quite literally paradise! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend it for anyone looking for a safe getaway in the Philippines!
Great facility. Very old but maintained fabulously. Friendly staff. Breakfast area is too crowded in the mornings. Location is horrible. Too far from the city and dining areas.

We stayed for 5/4nights. we have two issues in our room like bath room lock and telephone was not properly working they checked on our first day but until we checked out the telephone was not resolved.
Top notch service! Impressed how they make their guest pampered— served guest with free refreshments while in queue for check in, cleaned our room without being asked several times a day (we ordered in-room dining for lunch then went out worried our room smells like our food BUT too shy to call for assistance— surprised to come back to a refreshed cleaned room —we didn’t even asked them to pick up our mess or fix our bed again with thoughtful bookmark of poetry or throw our garbage again because they’re done cleaning the room that day, they even gave us new Shangri-La bottles of water & fresh bathroom tissues for the nth time that day—-Pleasantly surprised here, kudos Shangri-La Cebu you are beyond what I expected! I will sure to be back in my next trip to Cebu, Philippines.

Beautiful Hotel, Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful grounds. Breakfast buffet was very good with many options to choose from. Room was very nice. Slight damp smell which is normal for a beach front property in my opinion. Bed and pillows super comfortable. AC worked well and Wi-Fi also worked well. The shower was the best I have ever experienced in any hotel. A deluge of water pressure I have never felt anywhere else. It was almost therapeutic.
The fish sanctuary is really awesome!
