I had a reservation for more than 2 weeks for a one night stay there while working. I attempted to check in at 2:30pm (regular check in is at 3:00pm) because I had a job to get to and wouldn't be arriving back to the hotel until 4:00am. Early check in was DENIED, even though the parking lot was empty and I was only 1/2 an hour from check in time. When I arrived back at the hotel to check in at 4:00am, the front desk agent told me he couldn't check me in because he had locked himself out of the computer. He said "there was nothing he could do" and I would have to wait for his supervisor to come in from home to check me in and he "didn't know how long that would take". Exhausted, angry & desperate for sleep, I left after waiting 1/2 hour with no sign of supervisor.

There was no coffee machine, no iron, no internet, but room was clean.

When I went in it took 25-30 mins to get my key and no one was in front of me

Our room wasn't available when we got there, the first alternate room the lock didn't work, the second alternate room was a smoking room and we weren't given a key so we just didn't leave until the morning. The sink didn't drain, the bathroom wasn't very clean, the beds were uncomfortable, the lampshade looked like it had been hit by a truck. The staff blamed all the problems on housekeeping, which seemed unlikely.

Room was nice and clean but needs updated...Carpet and paint were very old...There was a hole in the wall and one light did not work. The smoke alarm was very old .There was NO Breakfast but they did have coffee...The ice machine did not work on the 4th floor and there was no ice maker on the 3rd floor and the one on the second floor only worked once, The staff were very pleasant and the price was great. It was OK for a one night stay and there were resturants near by.

The best thing about this place was the location in Macon, and the check out/in time. The staff is rude without being provoked. Simple questions will get you snappy answers and chuckles as if you should already know the answer. The beds are small and the whole place needs an upgrade. A dripping faucet all night, static filled old school televisions, and of course a funny smell. If your in a bind and finances are tight, okay and bring Lysol, but if you can spend the extra $20-$25 a night, please do and spare yourself.

had a nice stay the only problem was when i first got there the wifi didnt work but the good thing was that i was close enough to the next door hotel i could hook up there then after about 4 hours the wifi at the hotel started to work good other wise everything was fine

Stay here was good. in the morning my Motorcycle broke down and got assisted by the front desk with everything he could. it was good.

Nice, clean ,friendly staff good location. I would recommend people to stay.

This is by far the worst Red Roof Inn that I have ever stayed in. The whole place had a musty smell mixed with cigarette smoke. The lady at the front desk told a group of women in front of us that they could smoke in a non-smoking room "just open the window and spray." There were hairs in our towels and wash cloths and one of our beds was slanted downwards. I left that place feeling very dirty. If we would have been in town for more than one night we definitely would have gone to a different hotel.

Somethings could have been better but over I enjoyed my experience .

The hotel was good the only problem we ran into was no breakfast and no regular cable tv big turn off channels were very limited!

It was about average but I would have loved it if my room had a microwave ,refridgerator and hair dryer.

I was only a few miles from the convention, that I was attened. This motel was a real good valve for me on price per night stay. I was next to the outside door & when I came back Friday night the outside door was lock, but the door did have a note that said door will be lock from 9:00 p.m til 7:00 a.m., I had a short walk to the front door. Saturday night, I park near the front door, because I was going to check early Sunday morning.

Staff was friendly, every thing functioned, but nothing was clean. No in - room amenities or breakfast. Best booked when you need a few hours rest during long road trips. I wouldn't recommend having small children stay here. TV is old with no disc player. In fact, everything appeared old and worn - furniture, bedding, carpeting, etc.

The room and location were excellent. I had a king size room equip with large desk....Very clean and attractive! I was not sure what to expect for the price....Only issue I had were noisy neighbors in the wee hours of the night....but downstairs staff handled the issue well.

The website was very deceiving. There was no fridge or microwave in the room. Location was good.

Unfortunately, the Red Roof Inn's price is so competitive that it is a magnet to all sorts of drunken degenerates who yell at each other late at night. The hotel itself is fine; it's the customers that bring this place down.

It's a $40 room, so you're not getting much as far as amenities and comfort go. But, it's a great hotel for the price, and it's perfect for someone like me who just needs a place to crash while working a job out of town, or while traveling long distances. Nice location, very friendly employees, and a clean room.

Booked for 2 nights on a movie shoot, the room was great but I could only get an hour extension on my check out time. Even with the extension 2 minutes after the original check out time the staff was beating on the door. Nice place but with the staff needs a little work.
