From my past experience here just about a week ago (see review by TravelerRm219) I really thought the issues of this place would be something they would immediately address especially during the holiday season when the hotel gets very busy. the main issue appears to be that the hotel is severely understaffed and possibly underpaid as well. This is why: First the line to check into the room was pretty long. Understandable during this season but apparent that no extra people were at the front desk. A system to somehow prioritize prepaid travelers since they have already paid would alleviate this in addition to just hiring more people to check in travelers quickly. Second the room at first impression looked great (they recently remodeled) and unlike last time I had a room that did not have a sharable door, so it was much more quiet. However the bathroom was not clean. It had appeared to be a very rushed job (again an issue of understaffed and underpaid). There was dirty cup and tissue paper under the sink which I initially saw and didn't think much of it. What really got me was during my shower (which drained great compared to my other room) was that the shower curtain had black mold on it. :(!!!!!! come on even at home that's not okay and something so simple to maintain with a plastic bottle of diluted bleach. Also, the breakfast staff member still didn't know how to operate the coffee machine. I don't know if the staff is trained at all here or even paid enough to care.

I loved the fact that i have somewhere to stop and rest when traveling with my dogs and there were many others as well. The bathroom was not so great but other than that, i was happy

I enjoyed my stay very much at LA Quinta. It had seemed to be recently remodeled and everything was new and very clean. I only stayed one night as I was traveling to see family. I did notice a few things I wish had gone differently: The walls seem to be a little thin. I could hear the TV from the neighbor next door. I never had that experience in another hotel but luckily that individual was considerate and turned off their TV by bed time. The shower was really nice but the bathtub would accumulate water and drain very slow. The breakfast staff seemed recently hired and were not trained on how to refill the coffee machine. Honestly all little things but things I did notice and things that can be fixed: The issue with the TV can be solved by not having that sharable door feature. My room had an interior door that could be opened by both people to share two rooms. I'm sure if you removed that and placed in insulation and dry wall it would remove all the sound. The bathtub just needs draino and perhaps a better bath plug/drain. The breakfast staff just need training on how to do things the moment they are hired when it's not breakfast time instead of waiting until an issue comes up. They seem very nice and capable and I'm sure would pick up what they need to know quickly. all in all I rate my experience in spite of everything a 5/5 because the hotels in the area are a bit rough and in comparison this place was safe and very clean and very nice apparence.

This was my first stay at La Quinta Inn. Not exactly sure how to rate it. It was neither an exceptional experience nor a terrible one, it was just OKAY. I stayed for only one night just as a getaway from my normal life. One particular thing that bothered me is that from about 430 pm-6 pm, house cleaning was on my floor cleaning, which is great but the doors were constantly slamming. This went on for 2 hours nonstop and the first hour the rooms were right next.to mine. I was disappointed with breakfast in the morning but had a great nights sleep in the comfortable bed.

I stay here every time I'm in Macon. Clean room and facilities! I'd recommend to anyone. Good price.

Great staff, clean rooms. Great place to stay! Close to everything! Especially the mall for shopping and lots of restaurants.

Very clean hotel. Courteous staff and good breakfast. Close to everything. The pillow top mattresses sleep very well. The only problem was the key to the room had to be rescanned almost daily.

We had a very nice stay. Breakfast was very good.staff was friendly rooms were clean. Pool was great for kids

This was a very nice hotel. We only stayed for one very short night, but it was very clean, the staff seemed friendly, and it's conveniently located off the highway and near a lot of restaurants.

The check in staff was very friendly and accommodating. The fact that this is a pet friendly hotel made traveling much more comfortable and affordable.

Every thing fine,, accept the beds were to small and the pillows were to flat

good location, safe for woman traveling alone. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Good value.

Missing a small fridge in the room but a nice pool and spa area .

staff super pleasant and helpful. Hotel itself is basic, low amenity hotel, although pool looked clean.

Clean, basic hotel. Nice staff, but no extras. Breakfast was very simple, but again the staff was very pleasant and helpful.

This is not a fancy hotel, but clean, nice and reasonably priced hotel. There was no trash can in the bathroom and shampoo and conditioner was in one small bottle together, but breakfast had waffles and boiled eggs and fruit etc, so it was good enough for us. We would use this hotel again.

After driving through driving rain, the hotel was a welcoming surprise. The pool area is magical; a real oasis. The rooms were modern, attractive, and clean. The staff is friendly. Would suggest this location to anyone!

Commuting from Atlanta with business in downtown Macon. Convenient hotel off highway and near downtown. Restaurants within walking distance. Clean, courteous. Wish there had been a few more amenities and conditioner as well as shampoo for showers.

I was really impressed during my stay at La Quinta Macon - my room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable.

Stayed for a business conference...was so nice decided to stay another night!
