Taipa square was our one day pit-stop in Macau to explore the city. Great location and easily accessible from the ferry stands. Most of the drivers knew of this place but that's where the fun ends. Non English speaking front office, ill-maintained with dark areas in the passage and the rooms were below par even for a budget choice. They have their own casino but its full of locals and chinese and nothing touristy about it if you are a Non-oriental Not recommended for most and would suggest exploring other famous options available in Macau.

Taipa Square may not be along the levels of Venetian or Parisian but what I like about the hotel is the location. It is very near local community where you can buy fresh fruits, grocery items, medicinal items and eat at local resto with non english speaking staff but friendly. Walking distance to Venetian and other attractions and a shoe factory outlet! The rooms are adequate and clean. All our 6 rooms were adjacent to each other on same floor which made it very convenient for all of us. They even extended 2 of our rooms until 4pm free when we requested because our flight is at 10pm. It has a small casino inside. No smoking policy is in place.

The good news first - location was fine for travelling around Taipa and Peninsula. Bedroom was fine , so too the bathroom with a decent water pressure from shower . Hotel is clean , strong WiFi , limited TV channel selection. I have read the staff are really friendly but I would reserve that for the security staff only. I did not check the indoor pool on fourth floor or use the hourly shuttle bus service to ferry port. Not so good news The international restaurant no longer exists , only Chinese which opens at 10.00 am No alcohol available in the casino, I had the same response when ordering a beer in the so called lobby lounge . The reception and lobby area ( closed unless you include a couple of sofas near check in desk ) is on the 21 st which is the top floor . There is a hotel nearby where food and drinks can be served , there are local restaurants and a few shops including 7/11 . The horse racing track is a couple of minutes walk , suggest google Macau Jockey Club for details

My stay at Hotel Taipa Square was an awesome experience.  The hotel has a lovely view and rooms are small well ventilated. The room service was really good and pleasing. The staff are well mannered and smiling. The restaurant had a lovely menu and so well prepared and served with a smile. They have a small Casino but unfortunately the instructions were in Chinese language. I recommend  this Hotel to all those who wish to travel for a short holiday to Macau

I stayed there on 19th November 2017 with my friends, Rooms were small, smelling, Staff non cooperative... Reception was irresponsible... It was horrible... Do not opt for smoking room even if you are a smoker... You can get other best hotels for the same rate...

This hotel is with basic facilities, which is at a local residential area. It has 2 supermarkets and some restaurants around. It has a casino but is not with many people in the lobby area. There are pool and gym for the guests to use. Shuttle bus for the pier leaves on time.

The facilities in the hotel are pretty decent. The transportation time needed wasn't much as I expected. The room was clean and there wasn't any smell of smoke on the pillows. The breakfast was okay. There was a great view and the staff were polite.

We have stayed two night and three days. Had nice breakfast . check in process was smooth. Staff were polite. Need to train staff in communication We ha e spent our time in casino We have enjoyed our drink by 7/11. Food from mcd.

Check in process was quick and pleasing Front Office staffs were smiling and helpful especially Jenny .. Breakfast was good , cleanliness of the hotel is good enough, while checking out the front office staffs were enquiring about our staff . over all its a good Hotel , I will come back here .
