The Parkhotel in Valkenburg is an excellent hotel near the center of Valkenburg. We stayed in a standard room but it had plenty of luxury. The rooms were very clean and the bed was good. The breakfast was served at the rooftop of the hotel with a good view across the city. The hotel has very nice welness facilities and a fitness room with good equipment. The personnell was very helpfull and friendly and took every effort to make our stay as pleasant as possible. With a 5 minutes walk you are in the center of Valkenurg with many restaurants and bars.

Stayed here for Andre Rieu. Andre Rieu was great, but this hotel was disappointing. Felt like an old people's home. Food is good and wait staff are very friendly and attentive + Rooms and hotel in general are run down and require a serious upgrade. Chipped walls, peeling wallpaper, stained carpets. Uncomfortable single foam mattresses pushed together. Foam filled pillows. No bench / shelving space to put belongings. Checkin / checkout process - long cues, with insufficient staff. Went for breakfast, only to find I couldn't get back into my room because it was 10am. Went to reception, had to line up again - very frustrating. Whilst in cue, reception staff answering phone - forget the phone girls and clear the cues! Dirk

On the edge of old Valkenburg at 5 minute walk of the centre is this large old hotel. The hotel provides good value with clean basic rooms and some nice facilities, e.g. swimming pool and gym. The rooms are smallish but everything is there. There is a large restaurant and a terrace. The service was good and the food was nice. We had a very good event and everyone enjoyed the hotel.

Located just outside the town centre (5 minute walk) Good clean room. Good breakfast - cooked/continental buffet Good food in restaurant Pool and wellness centre included in stay. Rooms in front get morning sun

The staff was lovely. Breakfast was terrific. Free parking The rooms were rather small and needed updating. The shower was extremely small. No air conditioning which made it a bit hot on our weirdly hot day in May. It was a short walk into Valkenburg to many restaurants and stores. Very scenic. It met our needs just fine. Location was perfect for us.

we were in town for the Amstel Gold race, this is s great hotel to stay in, if you visit is cycling related. the owner sponsors a pro team and the hotel has a real passion about cycling and cycling tourists.

Just back from a weekend away at this hotel and a huge compliment to such friendly and helpful staff .... very seldom you see this anymore. Bedroom was clean and spacious with very comfy beds, hairdryer in the room, tea/coffee making facility. Only thing we missed was a mini fridge for keeping drinks cool. Breakfast was the best I've ever seen and what made it amazing was the speed in which it was refilled with fresh food. Pool area was clean and very nice only I didn't like it that you must remove bikini to enter the sauna .... personally I think this should be a guest choice. 5 minute walk into town and beautiful walking areas at the back of the hotel. Top recommendation.

We had a lovely romantic break in this hotel designed by the same architect who designed the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam and Centraal Station. The bedroom was clean and had everything you need, could do with more coffee though. The bed was extremely comfortable, though would have preferred a double mattress, not two beds pushed together, as we were there for a romantic break! Breakfast was lovely, and the champagne was a nice touch, but the best thing about this hotel is the spa, loved the sauna and pool, my skin was so soft afterwards, next time I will bring my gym clothes as the gym looked great. The restaurant was gorgeous, and the food while obviously pre-cooked, was tasty and the service was good. Will be back again.

the staff were wonderful we had wheelchairs in our group and nothing was to much trouble so helpful The hotel was lovely and clean rooms excellent the pool was fantastic and the food first class we all loved it there

If you want a nice rest without giving out a fortune this hotel is just what you are looking for The wellness area is very nice and one of the best swimming pool i have seen And it will not cost you one cent more The rooms are nice and clean and the beakfast won't deceive you The little town is really sweet and you have a big choice of restaurants
