The Melia Luxembourg is a true taste of luxury. The rooms are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, and the service is impeccable. My only concern is that it is far from shops and restaurants. Otherwise, an exceptional experience.
Everything was as it should be in this hotel. Good service, excellent room, great breakfast. We liked the location out of the city, in a quiet place between the MUDAM and the Philharmonic, but it may not be to everyone's taste. There is a tram and excellent bus service that will take you anywhere.
Great location for the Conference Center, but not for seeing the City. Service was ok. Small rooms. Turn down service in the evening was only done on 2 of the 4 nights. We also had to wait for our room on check in.
This was my second stay and although I was not upgraded for free like I was during my first stay, I still had a very pleasant spacious room in this lovely boutique hotel. The food was excellent both in terms of taste and presentation and the service was exemplary. There is a superior bar which serves tasty treats and a range of drinks for free for guests staying in one of the premium rooms and it provides a great location to relax with my colleagues after late business meetings. Next time I return to Luxembourg this will certainly be my first port of call once again for hotel accommodation.
I like the setup of Melia as it reflects my way of living - the rooms in the Level category have a Nespresso Coffeemaker and the evening Tapas are just perfect - Sure I will return. If you have Business in downtown it might be a bit away from the City as it is on the Plateau de Kirchberg
We spent the weekend here and enjoyed our stay. It's very much a business hotel, large rooms, quiet atmosphere and everything clean and comfortable. It's set in a nice area but be aware that cafes and restaurants are not plentiful in the area. However, the bus stop is just a few minutes walk away and the journey into the centre is very short. There is a nice walk through a park area if you are not in a hurry. The tram is also nearby but will not bring you to the city centre, buses are very frequent. Taxi from the airport is around €40 and the bus is €2. There is a small bar in the hotel and the breakfast is plentiful. I would stay here again.
Excellent room and all types of services, thank to the personnel. Attractive bonuses for guests included in "The Level" service package. Excellent atmosphere. Also very nice location. Well situated in the city, with good connections.
First time staying at a Melia hotel, and we really enjoyed our experience. Our room was beautiful, clean, and quiet. We walked about 5 minutes from the nearest bus stop which came directly from the train station (about a 20-30 minute ride.) A few tram stops away from the city center is a mall with high end shopping and a lovely grocery store. Would stay at Melia Luxembourg again!
This is a business hotel with the usual amenities, a parking garage right next door that was convenient for our rental car, and located at the top of a hill with fantastic views of the city from a lookout point outdoors. We could have walked 15 minutes to old town, but decided to drive because of the rain. The walk would have been beautiful if the weather was nicer. We enjoyed late night drinks in the hotel bar. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the bathroom was large. We had a delicious breakfast at Kathy’s Deli & Cupcakery, which was only a 10-minute drive to the neighborhood near the main train station.
Well positioned corporate hotel and standard facilities. Expensive but Luxemburg is ! Great staff and super helpful when I left my bag in the Taxi .good spread at breakfast and all in all does what is required.
