We stayed here for a long weekend in October. Our room was spacious, with even a small balcony, but interior looked a little old-fashioned. Audrey from Reception was very helpful upon check-in and provided valuable information about the city. Though we had some issues with our door lock, repair did not solve the issue, Cedric from the reception was very courteous and helpful trying find a solution. Hotel is conveniently located, within 10 mins. walking distance from the city center. And breakfast was simply amazing, plenty of choice for warm and cold buffet, breads, croissants, yoghurt etc. Would definitely stay here again.
Lovely hotel, very friendly helpful staff.. nothing was too much trouble :-) rooms were very clean, and very much worth the money! Close walking distance to all attractions .. Would definitely come back again!
This hotel is in a great location for investigating Luxembourg, which is a beautiful city. The room was immaculate with a very comfortable bed. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful and there was a secure underground car park. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful although it is in a separate building from the hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Luxembourg.
5 mins walk to Pont Adolphe and another 5 mins to the centre of the city. Great views over the lower town to the bridge from the hotel grounds and breakfast room. This isn't a pretty hotel to look at, but it's clean and comfortable, with very friendly and helpful reception staff and it's in a good position, with onsite underground secure parking for an extra charge (quite high at 25 euros). The choice at breakfast was excellent - hot as well as cold - and is served in the separate restaurant building which has a view over the lower town. We had asked for an upper floor and double bed when booking and we were given both. The bedroom was a decent size and on the top floor, with an enormous bed and the bathroom very well-appointed, with double-sized strong shower and separate toilet. There was no bath, which was fine for us, but doesn't suit everyone. The only real issue we had was with the pillows, which were so soft your head completely disappeared into them! A rolled-up towel underneath was the only solution! Bring your own travel kettle and tea/coffee if you like a cuppa first thing in the morning. Would happily stay here again.
I stayed here in two occasion during the national holiday so I did not have to take a taxi home. I can affirm that the breakfast is very very very good. The rooms are okay, nothing too special but nothing bad either. Bathroom is clean. Location is perfect and the hotel follows the normal price range for an hotel in the center.
TRAVEL TIP FROM AIRPORT - Bus directly from airport terminal to centre of Luxembourg city for 2 euros per person. Takes around 15 minutes. HOTEL - Right up on the top of the gorge with fantastic views of main bridge photographed in most pictures of Luxembourg city. Outside the hotel looks a bit like a Business type hotel but room excellent - spacious, clean, comfy bed. One little quirk - there is no door to shower room so you need to be good friends if sharing a room however there is a door to the toilet (which is separate) so no need to worry about that. Hotel is around 5-6 minute walk from the centre of city and directly across the road to a small but pleasant park. Good price as well. If you need to park then there are spaces in the hotel grounds.
The Parc Plaza is a very average rated hotel where rooms are concerned!! If you are looking for a centrally located place which is economical , has an excellent Buffet and you intend to be out the whole day , this would be right place for you! The triple occupancy rooms are in the Basement and the entire hotel has no AC or ceiling fans so there is no ventilation once the french doors are shut at night. On request the hotel staff provided a table fan. However the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They can arrange for your cab pick up and also delivered us Pizza on the busy National day evening!! They have a good buffet which can help you through a busy day walking around sightseeing. The location is the asset of this hotel as it is walkable distance to the major places in the city and has an excellent view of the valley from the grounds, if you are there around July 22nd ,23rd dont forget to catch the fireworks display from their grounds ...simply breathtaking!
Very nice and clean and with extremely helpful and friendly reception staff who speak very good English. Some of the rooms have a lovely view of the valley and the hotel itself is close to shops and restaurants. The hotel restaurant is apart from the hotel building which is fine in summer and it has a beautiful view of the valley - particularly if you sit outside. The room we had was fine and nicely decorated. I must, however, admit that I found it rather peculiar that there was no door to the bathroom and no hand basin in the separate toilet (nice to wash hands before using the door handle). The lack of bathroom door gives disturbances if you are two in the room and one of you has to get up earlier to eg. attend a business meeting. No coffee making facilities in the room, but there is an automat in the lobby where you can buy coffee/tea at a reasonable price. Good breakfast. Some of the concrete tiles in the driveway wobble when you walk on them which can be a bit disconcerting!
Very close to the city centre, this is a perfectly acceptable hotel. The service is nice and friendly, and the rooms are clean and pleasant. Nothing wrong with it, just not particularly exciting. Although when you're in Luxembourg the hotel isn't the main thing - the stunning views around the city are. So a great place to stay to see the city!
The location of the hotel is very good, it is near the city center. The area around the hotel is very beautiful and you have a view of the valley. The room was clean, cozy and nice for sleeping. The bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and caring. The breakfast was normal and less diverse than some other hotel. The price of this hotel was much more reasonable.
