we had bought a voucher for this treat, and were looking forward to a happy occasion. The staff are excellent and attentive, but the food was not up to their standard: . sandwiches we nice and on brown bread, but very cold . the scones we large and heavy, with strawberry gel (not jam!) . the cakes were OK, but very cold. Choice of tea or coffee, and seconds if you wish. However, if you want quantity you would be well served, so much so that being already full we took the macaroons home with us for another day. PS: used coffee grounds were available to take home, in packages - good for the garden and fridge! :)

What can I say, we stayed for 2 nights as a group of 6 adults and 4 children whilst visiting Warner Bros studios. Staff were fantastic, room was so clean and spacious with everything you could ask for and the food and service was outstanding with a special mention for Adriana who made our stay outstanding!!! She was amazing with the children and also assisted with our special surprise for Harry Potter world and couldn’t do any more for us. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!

This was a last minute booking. The receptionist when we booked in could not have been more helpful. The hotel is clean, the bedrooms were a bit dated but suitable enough for a night away. The evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. I would definitely stay here again if I need to go to that area again.

We had booked a family interconnecting room for our recent visit. On check-in we were advised that breakfast was not included in our rate but we got it free as Diamond members. The check in supervisor was unwelcoming and unfriendly! We were given interconnecting rooms at the far end of the hotel which was fine but the key cards couldn’t gain access. I went back to reception and were given an alternative set which again did not access the rooms. On the 3rd occasion the trainee receptionist was sent with us to the room and she could not gain access. She disappeared and 10 minutes later a duty manager appeared and got us in. She said that we should go back to reception in the morning for new keys. The rooms were large and were interconnecting off a small shared lobby area. The sink in the bathroom was badly chipped. The light in the central lobby could not be turned off so we were told that we would have to close our doors (making in not interconnecting) or put up with it although the receptionist did say she would contact maintenance for a light switcher! - maybe something from Harry Potter? Either way not great if you have a young family. On check out we were offered extra points which appeared the next day in the account. Breakfast was good

Me and my sisters were staying for 4 nights. The room was awful. we had a big old blood stain on the matras. second of all the housekeeping didn’t properly clean the room, they only changed the towels. And to make matters even worse they left the door open when they were done. We found out that the door wasn’t closed hours later, when we came back. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only person that properly helped us was Maria, who works in the restaurant and is not even in charge of the rooms.

Toilets tiles needed repair. Found hair in the bathtub. One of the FOH manager was not fit for the job. No warm welcome. As had two rooms, both main beds were noisy. Sofas beds were disgusting, not even made. Had to ask for clean bed sheets, blankets and pillow cover. Found vomit on cushions on bed sofas. Will not stay in this hotel again.

Booked for a business trip, so price was reasonable. Reception staff were friendly and helpful. Food in the restaurant was good, again reasonably priced. What let the hotel down was the room, on first glance everything looked fine except for the bathroom, which was clean but lacked the essentials like no toilet paper!!!!!!! (Not even the remainder of a roll) or any shower gel/shampoo. Which you generally don't notice until you need them and having been out for a run shortly after arrival I really did need both. Reception saved the day but should not have had to! Hopefully this is a one off but disappointed to say the least.

Check in with Tarin was very friendly and welcoming. The foyer area is very nice with the flame effect fire giving a nice first impression. Stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms - loved the modern and stylish decor and quirky layout. Thought it had a Scandinavian feel to it. Thank you also for the 'best guest' water, chocolate and company of the Hilton teddy bear - that was a nice welcoming touch! Bed is large and very comfortable and nice quality towels and toiletries are provided. Breakfast is a lovely experience. The omelettes freshly prepared by chef are delicious and huge! Very nice selection of cooked breakfast and the pastries, fruit etc are great too. Parking is very reasonable for £5 per night and there are plenty of spaces. Very convenient for the airport - less than ten minutes drive away.

very nice place , the stuff was very friendly , appreciate their patience since I was with my two little children. over all great place for vacation or business . The restaurant manager was outstanding

This moderate hotel employs fantastic team members who truly personify service excellence. After a long journey I arrived really early to the hotel and Joanna worked to find me a room after a very brief wait. This friendly and personal service continued throughout the stay as everyone in the dining room, bar and front desk were extremely competent and helpful. The breakfast rate includes a full English breakfast, along with cereals, fruit, breads, and make your own waffles. The one dinner I ate at the hotel bar area was very good, again with excellent service. The hotel is a short 11minute walk to several tasty restaurants, recommend Jayraj for Indian food, as well as a grocery store if you wanted to buy a few things to put in the room mini fridge. On each floor is a kitchen with a microwave, real plates and cutlery, along with a tray and napkins. I saw several families preparing a meal to take back to their room. Hotel is a short 15 min ride to the airport and the front desk will reserve a taxi at your request. Being a little away from the airport made this a very quiet place to stay. It may be a Hilton Garden Inn but for me the team provided Ritz Carlton levels of service, thank you to all!
