We had a king size bed. high quality mattress with extra fluff. Nice heavy towels and very clean and comfortable. Staff was awesome

Second time using this hotel on my way up to Mackinaw. Reliable, quiet, comfortable and serves the purpose.

Great stay. Comfortable, convenient, and affordable. Was great for the price-surpassed my expectations.

When walking through the hallways no ventilation can be felt and it seems similar to a old dormitory. Several old air fresheners were sitting on the window seals that must have been being used as a countermeasure to help with the odor. The room was okay and staff was friendly. Breakfast in the morning consisted of waffles, muffins, cereal, and some other options. Overall the stay was well.

We were just looking for a cheap place to stay for a Friday night at Little River Casino and this was a very tidy motel with very friendly staff. The casino shuttle comes at 20 minutes after the hour and gets you there in about 10 minutes.

The staff was very helpful and courteous and very friendly. We came to town to see an event called the masters of illusion. While we were there we enjoyed the casino also. We read some pamplets in the room about walleye fishing, sounds like we will be back and if thats the case, I know where we are staying!

room was very nice and quiet. nice bedding and décor was nice. bath could use updated

We were only stopping for one night on the Lake Michigan circle tour. Our room was excellent, very clean and roomy. the girl at the front desk was very helpful. Letting us know how to easily get down to the beach, what restaurants were good and about the river walk, which was very nice and peaceful after our dinner. Overall experience was excellent!

This hotel is a fabulous remodeled, up to date hotel. Close proximity to everything. Wonderful staff. Only thing I could recommend is to upgrade the towels as they're a bit on the thin side. This is our go to place to stay when in town.

Needed a clean, comfortable place to stay while in town for work. No frills, but met both of those requirements very well

friendly staff, bathroom clean, good continental breakfast

clerk remained seated, no coffee in room three days, we are out, bathroom light burnt out, used desk lamp 2 days, never replaced, carpet tacky stains, only attracks dirt, breakfast seated 12 people, others standing along counter, hallways, had to eat out 2x, third time on our own. wanted something other than debit card, need more room...

The staff was friendly and courteous at check in. I didn't realize there was not an evaluator until after I checked in and unfortunately I was on the second floor. I carried my rolling office for work up the stairs only to realize my key card didn't work. The staff was quick to assist stating "their key cards was sensitive." After making another trip with my luggage, I was set. Unfortunately, every time I left my room, it took me 5-10 swipes to access my room. On a positive note, their free continental breakfast offered waffles. I personally wouldn't stay there again. As a business traveler, the lack of evaluator is a deal breaker. Another concern is their driveway is on a curve and the traffic is quite busy in the summer.

I stayed here two nights while on my way further north. It is a great place to stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfy to sleep in. Extra pillows were available also. The hotel clerks I dealt with we're all very helpful. My only suggestion is that they put a sign of times to use machines by laundry area. Someone was using the machines between 11:00 pm and 1:00 in the morning...not very considerate of others trying to sleep!! Other than that I would highly recommend staying here!!

We had a wonderful experience at the Super 8 Manistee, MI Hotel. The rooms are NEWLY REMODELED and very nice. The room was very clean with great A/C. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and kept filled and plenty to choose from! The Staff at the hotel was VERY helpful and courteous and pleasant, aiming to make our stay enjoyable. It was an all around pleasant experience and would recommend it highly!

We found the front desk personnel very polite and helpful during check in. We settled into our room, unpacked, stowed gear etc. then went sight-seeing and to the casino. We arrived back at the room around 10:30 p.m. and the room was stuffy and hot. After trying to turn on the air conditioner without success and trying unplugging it and plugging it back in I called the front desk. I asked them if there was perhaps something I was doing wrong. The young woman at the front desk told me "Oh there was a note on your room down here that your air conditioner didn't work for the people who had stayed in the room before you... Would you like to switch rooms? Maybe you could open the window..." Because it was late and we were exhausted we decided to do as suggested and open a window. That was a bad choice as it was we didn't get any sleep and were sweltering all night AND could hear all the traffic. I still don not understand WHY anyone would give us a room they *KNEW* had no air conditioning before they assigned it to us in the third week of June. Needless to say we will not be coming back again.

staff was very nice and welcoming. they were willing to work with my schedule and needs very well. Room was very nice and and comforting consider it was a night get away and had a hot tub. breakfast that was offered was very small and skimpy (cheap) i would recommend going down the road 3miles to little river casino and enjoying their breakfast buffet instead. :)

shower head in the room had no adjustment it came out very hard.

Nice little place. Staff was friendly. Appreciated the breakfast and the free casino shuttles. :)

Clean and a good location, but a bit noisey. Not very well soundproofed and lots of traffic going by. Staff was very friendly. Continental breakfast was very minimal. Price was competitive, though.
