Room not ready at check in and it was not clean when we did check in. Beds were comfortable but overall cleanliness of the entire hotel was lacking.

I love staying at this hotel because it is quiet, comfortable, and clean. If you're traveling with a laptop hook it up to the TV, I didn't bring an HDMI so I "rented" one from the Walmart, a stone's throw away from the hotel. The location really is perfect, near the nightlife on the University strip as well as the University itself. Parking anywhere around the hotel makes it easy to unpack. It rained pretty hard last I was here, so being able to park near the room and get my things inside quickly was convenient. The breakfast is also legit.

This was by far the WORST visit or La Quinta I have ever had! To put in a nutshell; it's filthy...room 1 was not clean, sheets had crumbs and hair on them, couple dead roaches behind chair next to bed. They "upgraded" (term used very loosely) me To another room. If it wasn't for the time and that I was exhausted I would have went elsewhere. This hotel needs a lot of work!

I never stayed I saw the room it had bed bugs and I left and checked out .. it was horrible

This wasn't a hotel, it was set up like a motel. We always stay at La Quinta every time we travel, and this is the first time we'be seen a motel set up. Room was clean, breakfast was decent, rooms were clean enough, but the staff was rude and not helpful.

Our experience at the hotel was generally good. The beds were comfortable, and the heating system worked fine, so we were comfortable. The breakfasts that were provided were also good & appreciated. Staff were fairly friendly & accommidating. One small problem we had was that the toilet in the bathroom didn't always flush completely. I informed the desk about this upon our check-out. Overall we were well satisfied with the hotel.

The hotel was close to the stadium. Was rather pricey to open the door room and smell smoke. Room was clean and linens fresh. Bathroom was small and had some mold spots. Was not out of line for motel but price was very step for room.

Over priced due to supply and demand, but no complaints about our stay. Everything went smoothly!

Dirtiest carpet once we entered the room, the door hinges to the bathroom was broken, light was not working and no bath supplies other than one small soap bar. Extremely poor customer service. We were charged more than $180 and feel we were overcharged for 70/- worth hotel room.

The bathroom too small. Breakfast worst than average. Have to access room from outside. Hallway to the rooms dirty and unappealing.

This hotel...or should I say motel was extremely dirty! It is located in a bad part of town, and about 7:00 in the morning a guy from mantanince came and opened the door.... Thankfully the lock was on so that he couldn't fully open it! (We were still sleeping and it scared the crap out of us) he said "Oh someone turned in the keys and checked you out" we informed him that we still had both of the keys that were issued to us! On the plus side it is cheap! :/ so I guess you get what you pay for. I personally won't be so cheap next time!

Room floor had visible dirt and hair, obviously had not been cleaned. Our reservation was for 2 dbl beds and we were given 1 king. Unacceptable so we paid through the nose for a last minute room at a much nicer hotel on graduation weekend at Lubbock TX. This LaQuinta has seen better days.

Staff was very friendly and helpful but hotel is old and ran down. Will not stay there again.

Hotel appeared old and in much needed repair. Smoke smell everywhere and generally dirty in all common areas and in the room.

Pet friendly and has a small grassy area for them to use. Off of busy street.

Had to stay in a smoking room when requested non-smoking. AC unit didn't keep the room cool enough.

Room had odors. Other then it was okay. Did not have a refrigerator or a safe box inside.

The hotel was dated. The room was tiny by modern standards. Definitely not a value for the money.

It appears as though La Quinta purchased an older motel and did their best to upgrade it to La Quinta standards. They did pretty well, but it still had the skeleton of an old motel (exterior doors to the parking lot, tiny bathrooms, limited hot water supply, no kitchen facility to prep standard breakfasts, dusty "old" smell). Beds were comfy, room was clean, staff was AMAZINGLY friendly, proximity to TTU was perfect. Unfortunately, just overall not what we expected nor would we choose to do again.

Thank you for leaving your feedback on your last stay with us. We strive to have a great experience for our guests. It looks to be according to your remarks we fell short of that goal. I do apologize for the issue with the odor of your room, I hope you reported this issue to our team so that they could try and address it. I see that your stay with us was on our university football weekend, which causes the rates throughout the city to rise. I know it can be inconvenient for guest not here for that purpose and do hope that does not keep you from giving my team another chance.

I was very disappointed to receive your comments on your stay with us. I have spoken personally with housekeeping staff to try and ensure this does not happen again. I do apologize for this, and do not want any of our guest to have this type of experience. As for the rate on our rooms I realize that it was parent visit weekend at the university in town which would explain the rate in Lubbock will be higher during these events. We as a whole team strive to serve our guest at highest ability, it looks like in this case we dropped the ball. Thank you for leaving your comments on your stay, without guest input we can improve.
