The service was terrible at the front desk. We stayed one day for a graduation (Texas Tech University), when we arrived at 12:30 pm on a Friday they said the room was not ready and that it would not be ready for another 2 hours. This was a problem as we needed to shower and get ready to attend the graduation at 3:00 pm. When I questioned the male clerk at the front desk he said that check-in was not until 4:00pm. Why I asked if check out the next morning was at 12:00pm. Who has a check-in policy of 4:00 pm for a hotel? He was very rude and became confrontational. Then another female front desk clerk stepped in and she was worse if you can imagine that! When I mentioned to her where are your customer service skills, The customer is always right she said it was what it was and I needed to come back in 2 hours. Horrible service, not very clean rooms, motel Is very run down. ur last stay was at another location Southeast, it was much nicer, friendlier staff, clean room.

Not a two star hotel. This hotel needs an update. Definitely not worth the money spent.

Negative: There is a overpass in front of this hotel. It's so noisy during the whole night. Possitive: It's the most valuable hotel near the TTU. It's price is acceptable, it's room is clean and it's waiter is nice.

Hotel was comfortable and the staff was kind. The location was close to where we needed and the parking was good

The room was noisy. You can hear the footsteps upstairs. The amenities were outdated. The coffee maker was dirty. Does not worth the money.

For the same price, I stayed in a very nice hotel the next night. This motel was very dirty, the air conditioner did not work, the towels and sheets were (all) stained, the bed stand and bathroom counter had not been wiped down from the previous night. The carpets were also very stained. I was disappointed after reading positive reviews.

Remove this hotel from the search list. The hotel is run down. The exterior structure, concrete steps and railings are rusted, warped and not in good condition. The parking lot and chain link fence in the back don't add any beauty. Our room seemed clean but we were not sure and looked for bed bugs and there were none. The sheets were clean but we were not sure about the bedspread. I was nervous about sitting on the couch. The carpet had a few stains. The TV is a very old tube-type. The sink was shifting to one side. The lamp on one side of the bed did not work because it's cord was not long enough to connect to the one electrical outlet on the other side of the bed. The toilet roll holder was missing the actual roll tube that holds the paper in position. This is a piece that costs less than a couple of bucks and had not been replaced. The bathroom door did not close in the door frame. The seams were covered in lots of thick caulk. The only reason we picked this hotel was because of it's location. I would have rather spent $10 or $20 more for a clean, modern room. The personnel were nice enough but it's a facility that really needs to be torn down. I will never stay at this brand hotel again.

It wasn't bad. It was clean and acceptable, but I didn't like Lubbock at all.

Pretty much what you would expect. Good for the price paid.

room smelled like cigarettes, pillow smelled like cigarette. very dirty place! didn't have a choice due to graduation. so book early

This is a no frills hotel. Its perfect for going to the game since its directly across the street from the stadium. I'd definitely stay again for a game.

So, I stayed here because it was close to the medical center and I really regret it. The hotel is so close to the highway all I could hear were trucks and ambulances going by all night, so I couldn't sleep. Another person I knew was so scared because the hotel is a little sketchy she slept with her phone in her hand. The hotel room was okay. I still walked around and showered in flip flops because everything just didn't seem clean. All in all, just pay the money to stay somewhere else.

Smelled like urine and smoke and had bugs don't stay there

Upon arrival at front of the hotel, a used condom lay in a parking spot close to the entrance. I had to walk around it. Flies were present infront of the building and flew in my room as soon as I opened the door. A back room behind the front desk was messy with boxes and everywhere and the door kept open. On the 2nd morning around 9 am a very loud knock on my door prompted my husband to ask "Who is it"? No one answered and no one was there when he looked out through the window and through the peephole. That was disturbing. Approximately 30 minutes later, the front desk rang to ask if we needed room service. There was no mention of housekeeping having been at our door before. Overall, other amenities were ok, however, cleanliness of the area around the building, in the office area behind the front desk, and cleaner neater dress of the male front desk workers could be improved. Guests checking in could be given a more courteous and welcoming attention with eye contact and a smile.

It was clean and we got a no smoking area and it didn't smell like smoke like some hotels do. It was asome thank you!!!

My experience was a good one. The Days Inn is an older hotel, but was very clean. The location was perfect for where I needed to be. I would stay there again.

The hotel room is not worth more than $50 (we were charged $85 plus tax). Motel 6 is no worse than this. The room was dusty with West Texas red dirt. I spent 30 minutes cleaning up the dust with a wash rag and the rag was filthy. The pillows were dusty as well so asked front desk for fresh ones. They delivered to the room but only two pillows (one for each bed). Other than that, the rest of the room is okay. Outer corridor with window unit. Bathroom was clean, carpet looked clean but beds were worn with ripped undersides. Next to freeway so there is a little noise. This place is only good because it is right next to the university. Other than that not worth more than Motel 6. Wish hotels were more affordable around here. Holiday Inns are $145 a night! So when you pay $85 you would expect something better than the $40 Kings Inn...Not so here.

Great view, easy access to the town, right next to a gas station/convenience store. Room was very clean, Just lacked vending machines on each floor.

for what we paid it left a lot to be desired. beds were lumpy, walls were thin and the "gentleman" urinating right in front of the elevator really added a "touch of class". there was no ice available and really the only thing going for it was the location

Hotel is old and run down, room door was broke and had to push hard to open door.
