Was here for OU-Tech football game and other hotels were ridiculous (like $259-279/night). Breakfast was weak, go south on University for Dunkin Doughnut, Starbucks, or McDs. Get room in 140s away from highway. This is a 2 star at best.

Limited interaction with staff, but they were friendly. Room furniture was OK. Not much decor. Floor (carpet) was dirty. We wore socks for the few hours in the morning and at night and they were very dirty at the end of the night. The shower was nice and roomy, but the water did not drain well. The towels were stained and some had worn holes larger than 1 in. in diameter.

Very good breakfast which include hash potato, eggs, sausages.... The room is better than I thought.

The amenities, bed and bathroom was old. The bed was not very comfortable. I was satisfied overall but wouldn't stay there with my family.

Bed was rock hard, room was clean although towels looked a bit sketchy. Breakfast was mostly gone or stale by 8 AM. Pet fee is $10 FYI. I'd prefer to spend more to get a better night's sleep.

The bed was hard! But not too bad I guess! Had a mini fridge and microwave clean bathroom, clean sheets, the carpet was outdated and looked like it needed to be shampooed but I had no complaints! Slept good and almost missed check out! My daughter enjoyed runningfrom the bathroom to the door, she loved it!

For last minute booking and affordability, it's perfect

Nothing to criticize. The breakfast is the best I've experienced at a motel of this cost. Friendly and helpful staff. Very nice surroundings. It was difficult to find though. Should have a little line drawing map to help us to find them.

I've stayed twice here and both times were very enjoyable. I find hotels in Lubbock generally overpriced. This motor inn is clean, the staff is friendly, and they offer a free hot breakfast every morning. Highly recommended for those seeking the best value for their money.

Room was not very clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was dirty and not well maintained. There were no restaurants within walking distance, it's set in an industrial area.

It was average for inns, but for the price it was good.

Just staying 1 night. Clean, only problem was that it had dispensers for body gel and shampoo. Got in shower and had no gel. Had to bathe with shampoo. Did get a bar of soap delivered to room later.

Easy access location for an overnight stop in Lubbock. Staff was nice and check in easy and efficient. One would need to drive to a good restaurants or points of interest. My room was clean and comfortable with good hot water and pressure. The hiway noise did not reach to the back rooms. There is a pool and good wifi available. The free hot breakfast was good and plentiful. An excellent bargain.

From the road, this motel looks like a million others that were built 50 years ago. BUT!!! It is a clean and neat place with friendly staff. My room was clean, neat and smoke free. It had been remodeled in the last few years so it was fairly fresh. The real reward comes in the value you pay. My cost for the night was in the low fifities and I defintely got my money's worth. Don't expect the JW Marriott, but it's definitely a great place to spend the night!

My Red Raiders suffered a humiliating defeat, mainly due to their shockingly porous D, but at least the trip was affordable. For under $80, we got a decently sized room with a small couch, a microwave, and a refrigerator, as well as other standard stuff like a TV, a coffee maker and an iron/ironing board. I looked at the map, and our room was one of a small number of apartment rooms, which may mean some of the features weren't standard. Soap and lotion were in dispensers, rather than in bottles, if you care about that sort of thing. I don't. My wife prefers fancy, amenity-rich, palatial accommodations (though she gripes about the cost when the Discover bill comes), and I prefer finding a clearing amongst the prickly pear for my Thermarest and sleeping bag since it's free and quiet. We met in the middle and were both OK with this place. It has easy access to both the Interstate and the loop. From the hotel, you can probably get to any location in Lubbock in 10 minutes or less. As mentioned previously, my wife is very picky about hotels, and prefers to stay in fancy, expensive rooms, which are no cleaner than this one, and she said, "It was OK." Her eye for dirt is on par with Adrian Monk, and she found none, although she did spot a tiny leak in the back of the refrigerator. We reported it, and the clerk actually seemed concerned, writing it down and calling it in. I suspect the place is family operated. The only real negative we found was the low sound isolation of the window. The property isn't in a noisy area at all, so it's not like it was constant noise or anything. We slept in, and my light-sleeping wife was awakened by kids playing at around 7 or 8. I sleep the stony sleep of death, and I do think I remember hearing the kids playing as well. Lubbock is known for being inhabited by boring adults and rowdy youths. The rowdy youths are on campus, not in hotels, and the boring adults renting rooms go to sleep at a decent hour, so I don't see the sound transmission issue being a real problem for anyone. There is a breakfast included, but it ended at 9, and we slept in, so I can't report on its quality or content. TL;DR: This room is cleaner than comparable properties in its price range.

When we arrive in Lubbock i was pleasantly suprised to see that everything, hotel included was within a 10 mile area. The hotel although its not much to look at was pretty nice when we entered. The staff was very friendly and pleasant, the rooms are big and clean, with a closet in the bathroom, cable, and comfy beds. The room service and cleaning was right on point, as soon as we came back from breakfast which was very very good ( another suprise) the rooms were clean and the bed was made. If i remember correctly breakfast is from 6-9 am complementary. The breakfast was way better than i thought it would be, we had eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, and they even had a waffle maker. They has cereal if thats what you were craving etc, and coffee of course. All in all I give it about 4 out of 5 only because its not a five start hotel but they sure work to make you feel good and comfy. Next time im in Lubbock, I will return here.

it was the cheapest I could find but still kinda expensive. the sheets/room smelled my an ashtray

The rooms were clean but there was the lingering smell of cigarette smoke. The breakfast was very good- lots of variety.

We were in visiting our daughter's at TTU for family weekend. It was a great place to stay for the price. I was surprised how clean it was and it was only 10 mins from the university. The only con was it is a bit hard to find if your not familiar with the area. Otherwise, I will stay here again in the future!

It was clean. It was nice. All in all it was comfortable.
