We are two adults and a child 4 years. Are members of Accor club . Ordered and paid for a double room chosen in advance. What was our surprise on arrival at the hotel, we were told at the reception that when we booked and paid for the double room, it was available, and when we arrived at the hotel, this room was already occupied! And all any of the alternatives, double rooms that would match us with a child not available! We came to celebrate a birthday! The woman at the reception did not try to offer us, just no rooms. After a long showdown, another Manager, a man, offered us an alternative, for which we are grateful. The disadvantages of the hotel: the irresponsible staff that spoils the hotel and opinion about it! Dirty, very dirty. For 5 days nobody changed the sheets and did not vacuum the floor! The horror! Advantages of the hotel: a large SPA area (two large pools BUT cold water), great location, the view from the hotel of the mountains, paid and free Parking, close to the centre of the city.
When we stay at The Mercure for one night and its Sunday so there are lots of kids and parents having a holiday in hotel the food was okay. We had a dinner intbe restaruant in the hotel I Take a salad and the pork and there are lots of kids and when we went inside it small bed and bathroom and there was no air condition just a heater near the heater there a so you have to open the door because it so hot and there no air
This hotel is tired and in need of a refurb, only the bathrooms were to a good standard. From the outset the receptionist had an issue with our reservation, I booked with Polish address, but didn;t have Polish ID. This was an issue for some reason. Also I provided my email address linked to my points account, no idea where the points are now. Pool and sauna are are saving grace and perfect after a long day hiking in the mountains. Although the steam room wasn't nice. Little details missing like no cups for water. Food offering wasn't awesome, maybe because it was off season, but breakfast was simple and dinner we only had once as it wasn't great. We would stay again after a refurb.
I spent a great time with my family in this hotel. Nice room, friendly staff and wellness area (pool, sauna & gym) were an absolute plus of this hotel. Breakfast offered a wide selection of food, there was enough place to sit even during the ,, rush hour ". I strongly recommend this hotel.
Average hotel within 10 minutes walk to main shops/restaurants Karpacz road. Rooms are renovated and clean, but with old and small TV. Rooms on ground floors are without terrances. Big plus are really tasty breakfast with variety of meals.
This seems like one of those hotels that looks better on the outside than it does on the inside. We chose this hotel bc a) it is ranked #1 for Karpacz and b) it's a well established hotel brand. Perhaps if you take an overall view of the hotel, I can see why it is ranked high. The hotel does look nice from the outside, there is onsite (paid parking), the hotel has an indoor pool, tennis courts, childrens play room, onsite spa, and restaurant. And when we stayed it was well priced. On the negative, the hotel is a little outside the main street of Karpacz (10-15 minute walk), we waited forever at reception (Poles seem to like chatting even if other people are waiting), and our room was pretty average. No aircon, tiny, single beds and dated. The lack of aircon was a killer. In the middle of summer, even with the window wide open, we really sweltered during the night + we had all the outside lights keeping our room pretty bright during the night. This is a 3* hotel and certainly wouldn't be pushing to move up to 4*. There are numerous other 4* hotels in Karpacz and I'd imagine several would be more luxurious than then Mecure. Nevertheless it wasn't terrible.
This is a nice hotel located about 500m from center of Karpacz. The room was not so big but very comfortable, fully equipped bathroom (towels, cosmetics, hair dryer) and very comfortably bed. Small free car parking and big paid located near to the hotel (it is possible to buy package with paking included). Food was quied good ('fit' also avaiable). Atractions for kids inside and outside hotel available. Good wellness and spa - affordable prices, very good quality of service. All staff was very friendly and helpfull. I can recommend this hotel for stay during whole year because always is something to do in Karpacz.
Very quiet and good location but with a terrible paid parking. Karpacz near Jelenia Góra is a place that really worth it, offers a varied usage in any season, you will find many possibilities of tourism, in winter skiing, stunning views of Snezka, excellent restaurants serving local specialties, excellent pastry shops, atractions for kids but for adults too, clean parks, water park Tropikana at Gołębiowski costs definitely worth a visit. The hotel is completely proportional to its price, but parking could be free.
Hotel is a bit far from the main city road, A bit rusty (old fashion huge CRT TV) but clean and equipped well. There are dressing gowns in the room so you can use them for going for the SPA session etc. Staff is very professional and helpful. Breakfast was quite good, and even had a 'fit' corner which is not typical. Wifi has a good coverage.
We came just to stay overnight and took additional day to enjoy the swimming pool and sauna. Comfy rooms with balconies and VERY nice bathrooms. Pet friendly (our dog was pleased with the forrest surrounding the hotel ) and.. Kids friendly as well. Our kids would be astonished with all those play rooms, spa and outdoor playground. Nevertheless, this time we came alone, so we could imagine that those who don't appreciate shouting children could be irritated.
