Great staff was very helpful, fast checkin and checkout

This hotel is the best one with good price and good location in NYC. It is in Chinatown and minutes walk to Italy town. Close to subway. Room is clean, bed is comfortable.

Hotel was clean, staff was nice. Limited channels on TV, no pool, no restaurant in hotel, no fitness room. Room very small. Breakfast was ok not great. Parking is 35.00 a day. Big problem language, a lot of the people in the area do not speak English even at the shops. If going to take bus tours hotel wasn't much help. Italian food delivered was delicious.

Convenient location in Chinatown! Will definitely stay here again when are in NYC.

We had a wonderful vacation and enjoyed every minute at the Comfort Inn Manhattan Bridge. In fact, we wanted to move in and stay for good! Great view of the active park across the street, and excellent location with easy and fun walks to Chinatown and Little Italy. We enjoyed the many excellent and affordable restaurants and souvenir shopping. Though during the day the neighborhood was bustling with people exercising in the park, shopping and just doing the New York thing, the nights were quiet and we slept well. It was also very close to the subway station on Grand St. which took us everywhere we wanted to go. The bed was so comfortable we wanted to take it home! The decor was nice, too. The complimentary shampoo and conditioner were some of the best I've used! The complimentary breakfast was great with many choices and fresh food daily. Great coffee was available downstairs in the breakfast area all day and night. My teenage son, who lives in another area of the city stayed with us one night and the staff was kind enough to bring up a roll-away bed which was very comfortable for him. We will DEFINITELY be staying there again!

Location was key for our stay and the price was right. The room was very clean, good use of space, pleasant staff and good breakfast (loved the make your own waffles). We only stayed one night. Safe neighborhood.

Room was comfortable, having a full breakfast was an added benefit and a great way to start the day!

This hotel was a pretty good hotel for NYC. It is conveniently located near the Manhattan Bridge so it was easy access to both the delights of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The hotel neighborhood was very quiet but for some reason the neighbors we had in the hotel were VERY noisy that weekend (MLK weekend) but I think that had to do with acoustics. The room itself is smaller than a hotel room you would find elsewhere but that is because it's in NYC where all living spaces are small unless you shell out the big bucks. They had protective covers on the mattresses I assume to stave off any bed bugs invasions. The bathroom was clean and modern and the staff was very helpful in getting you anything else you might need amenity-wise. The only complaint I have is that the hotel claims the beds in the hotel are Queen size beds but they are definitely just a double. I have slept on a number of Queen size mattresses and theirs was not one of them! I would not recommend staying here if you really need a Queen size bed. Apart from that, everything with this hotel was wonderful and I would recommend it to others.

The hotel itself was good. Room was clean and staff were friendly. The only thing is that it's in Chinatown, which gets really crowded and has a horrible smell. You need to walk pass the crowds to get to the metro, which is not such a pleasant experience in the morning esp. At night it's quiet but the smell remains. But for the money, I guess it's worth it. Also, we traveled from DC - NY - Boston, so the fact that it's close to the Chinatown buses was a huge plus for us.

Short cab ride from LaGuardia. Clean. Great location. Great room. Helpful staff.

The hotel provided everything that I needed: quiet place to sleep, secure, spotless private bathroom. I didn't spend much time in the room (c'mon, it's NEW YORK CITY outside your door!), but it was everything I could have wanted and at a reasonable price. Short walk to the subway. And while Chinatown is bustling during the day, when I came back after the evening, it was almost deserted-in a good way. I didn't make it up for the complimentary breakfast, so I can't vouch for the toast, but the in-room coffee was handy.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small, but I was a tourist so didn't spend too much time there. It was safe, clean and had a great location for walking and easy access to the Subway. I would stay here again.

Hotel was fine for a couple of nights of business, but I really hate complimentary breakfasts that are just toast. How about some eggs? Some bacon?

The hotel was clean. Rooms were small, but comfortable. The location was fair, not far from a subway entrance.

Had problems accessing the Subway. Not easily done with the cross-town transfer system in NYC. Will stay in a familiar area on next trip

This Comfort Inn is new, located just one block from the Manhattan Bridge in the Lower East Side/China Town area across from a neighborhood park, 1/2 blk. N. of Canal St, 1 blk E. of Bowery St. Easy access to all of Manhattan via NCY's excellent bus service. Comfortable, attractively furnished rooms at VERY affordable prices for NYC, and 5th night was free. My only frustration was with the SuperShuttle van service from LaGuardia who didn't want to go that far south from the airport. Though their vans came every 20 minutes for other passengers, I waited 2 hrs. (you read that right) for a van driver willing to take me to the hotel...ruined by planned 1st night in NYC causing me to miss a show in Uptown. Then the service told me just to take a cab to airport when I requested my prepaid return ride to LaGuaurdia. [...] needs to review the value of having SuperShuttle on their list of services.

Searched for ages for a decent hotel that wasn't crazy expensive, something which is hard to find in NYC. Came across this place, and it was a real find. Big rooms (for being NYC) for a decent price. Also clean and friendly staff, although simple. Location seems a bit out of the way, but with a subway stop 2 blocks away, walking distance from the Village, and right across the bridge from Brooklyn, it turned out to be really great.

The hotel was located in a prime spot a block from grand station. The hotel also has friendly service and the room was clean. No complaints i recommend the site.

We went to NY for one night and this hotel was great. Close to the subway, quiet, clean, and friendly staff.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Small but adequate with lots of light. Flat screen TVs. Friendly staff willing to give directions and suggestions to guests. Very nice continental breakfast with fresh made-while-you-wait waffles, muffins, hard boiled eggs, toast, cereal, fruit, and fresh coffee. Lots of international travellers. Located at edge of Chinatown near subway stations. A little scarey when arriving after dark but presented no real problems or danger. Very colorful daytime area. Easy to get to Little Italy, The Village, and subways for more distant sites. We will book again sometime.
