Stayed at this Hotel as part of the Trafalgar Great European Tour. This is an older hotel so she does show some wear and tear. We stayed in a room that had 2 single beds, which made the room quite cramped. There wasn’t really any space to place your bags as they didn’t fit too well in the cupboard. This hotel offers plastic cups in the bathroom and paper cups for tea/coffee which I feel is quite wasteful. The bathroom has a bidet which I feel is wasted space. There is very little shelf space in the bathroom and the only one shelf is above the bidet. We had dinner in the evening at this Hotel which was soup, chicken and a dessert. Which was Ok. Considering they had 2 bus loads of people the service was fairly quick. The breakfast was limited in hot food although there was cold options. There is a gift shop that offers 10% discount on items if you show your discount card. Room was quiet and staff were friendly, overall not too bad of an experience.

Most people visit Lourdes are Catholics, me too. We liked the location. It takes only 10minutes walk to the square, we can go down whenever we like. Within 15minutes walk can reach the supermarket, convenient. The room is clean and well equipped with enough sockets. We can see the river from our room, good view. Staff always wear smiling faces.

Very nice hotel with good breakfast and nice staff. Puplic parking near hotel. Nice view to the river. In the center of Lourdes. Stylish but cosy restaurant in the hotel. Stayed one night in April.....

This is a great location to stay whilst you are in Lourdes .The hotel is always nice and warm, clean.the staff are always very welcoming .The bedrooms to the front have good views of the river and point towards the grotto. Breakfast was included hot and cold options.

My family spent 3 nights in lourdes before heading to Paris. On quite street, close to santuary, good service, clean and good breakfast. Parking right by river in front of hotel. (Cheaper than hotel) Nice staff

Excellent hotel with very nice furniture .Good restaurant with very efficient service. A little noisy because of large groups of guests leaving at all hours of the night. Only let down by the provision of paper cups and wooden sticks to make tea and coffee .Extremely poor in a 4star hotel and Mercure should really rethink this.

We were in Lourdes for two nights and were pleased with our stay at the Mercure. The hotel is older, but well maintained. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms tend to be on the basic side, but the dining rooms and reception rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. Close to the Sanctuary, but not "in the thick" of everything, it's just a nice amble. My only mild complaint was that there was only one server for dinners--yes, it was near the end of the season, but it caused quite a bit of waiting. She was very genial and competent, but two servers would have been more efficient. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay, and I recommend this hotel.

The hotel itself was clean and accommodating. It also was very close to the Sanctuary. We ate breakfast and dinner there. There were two people who basically did all the work in the dining room. A woman and young man who worked tirelessly to wait and serve. They never stopped moving. Breakfast was better than dinner. At dinner, we were served soups which were not the best. The last night it was just beef broth and very thin noodles, tasteless. The dinners were very disappointing.

the hotel is average .it is in a walking distance from every thing in the city. the room was medium size and clean. breakfast was a little poor and the menus dinner was not to good. nothing to talk about.

Location is just perfect to see all tourists attractions.hotel is very nice included service at hotel only thing should be improved is parking which is not clearly marked and there is no way to unload bags.too bad that town is totally oriented towards tourists which don't care about quality of food not to mentioned price
