Super 8 Louisville Airport

Recent remodel is vast improvement. Our only problem was that we had to go to front desk every night we stayed to get clean bath towels.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. We had to wait an hour to check in because the housekeepers were being super slow that day. Not my problem. Sure I'll hang out in your sketchy parking lot for an hour waiting. Front desk dude was not nice. He mumbled everything. Hotel smells old and all the emergency exits were closed off. So good luck if there's a fire! Room was just crappy. The bathroom floor was falling in. Beds were sagging in the middle. Only one outlet worked in the room. Seriously just a complete mess. Breakfast was laughably bad. We asked for an additional towel (got 3 with 4 people in our room) and I was told no. Okay well it's bs that someone has to share a towel. I hate this place and I hope it closes. I feel like the fire marshall should be informed about this hazardous dump. Never again.

We didn't expect a 4 star hotel but the hotel was worse than a 1 star. Our matress was old and uncomfortable. The hotel smelled like smoke and even though they had done some updating it didn't come close to what we saw in the photos online. Our keycard didn't work in the outside door so we had to walk all the way around the hotel to get in. There was old used soap in the bathroom, the soda machine was empty, and they gave us a floor mat instead of a bath towel. Plus it was very loud. No more a Super 8 hotels for us!

No hot water to shower. None. Told me maintenance would look at it but I'd be checked out by then. Forgot my wake up call (my alarm still did the trick though). Furniture and lampshades drycracked.. Musty/mild smokey smell in non smoking room. I expect more out of a $150 room for one.

The rooms where the worst I have ever been in. The whole hotel smelled of cigarette smoke. They show new rooms on the website but make no mistake they are not The breakfast was pretty much toast or waffles take your pick

Hotel was comfortable and I enjoyed my very brief stay.

Nice room. Reservations for two nights. Went to visited friends and when we came back to our room to change clothes, we had been locked out. Went to front desk and only thing the clerk would say was, 'times up'. It took my husband and I both to get him to understand we was paid up for another night. The only thing he said to us was, 'my bad'!

Seedy, roach infested hotel. I was afraid to turn the lights out. Walls extremely thin. Could hear TV from next room like it was in my room. Furniture in room broken. Wouldnt touch their breakfast bar. Location is awesome, right next to highway but not worth it.

There were a lot of people coming and going at all hours. people on drugs and hookers. Room next door had a pit bull that barked every time someone walked down the hall. Stayed here in the past but never again.

The room initially had no remote, pillows, trash cans and smelt really horrible. Then there was bed bugs. Unacceptable. The outside looked better than the inside.

Clean room. Nice, comfortable bed and pillows. I reported to the staff that the toilet handle was about to fall off, but still serviceable. They were apologetic, very friendly, and courteous. An overall positive experience. I would stay again. Thanks Super 8! Adam C.

Bed bugs, so what does that tell you about cleanliness! How would you like waking up at 2 am to find that you are being eaten alive by bugs? Yes, they did change our room. Next, towels, had to ask for them three times as we returned to our room late each night. Not that we could use what was still in our room, they were gone! Then beds, you like your bed made up? No, not here. That must be extra service. The one day the beds were made, the bed spreads were just thrown over the beds and not even smoothed out. Just a wrinkled mess. I made a call to Orbitz about the bed bug problem and was told that when they contacted the hotel the manager was not available and they would get back with me. I never heard back from the hotel or Orbitz about the issue. Great customer service from both of them! Avoid this hotel like the plague.

We arrived at the hotel @ 3:15PM, as I walked toward the entry door I could smell marijuana as it opened when another patron walked out. Inside @ the checkout counter it wreaked of marijuana. My room for 2 days was ready but, from the conversations going on around me, they were very short handed. One maid for entire hotel and some of the peoples room were not ready that were in front of me in line. My room was at the very end of the building on the first floor. I was told my card would open the door at the end of the building. Card didn't work but neither did the lock. You could just pull up on the handle and it would open. Room was small and remodeled but, very cheaply done. Said we were getting 2 Queen beds but, they were actually full size. Air conditioner wreaked of mold, Maid running sweeper one floor up @ 10:30PM, calling for 3 fresh towels and finally after 2 hours I went to the desk and that girl got me the towels. You have a nice enough staff but, they need good help. I would only stay here again if I was traveling without my family. Which will never be!

Nice staff and ok rooms. Was a basic room and no amenities.

The location was convenient, the price was right, and breakfast was acceptable.

Wish there were two beds otherwise good hotel nice staff

This is a non smoking hotel but they do not enforce it. Rooms reak of cigarettes, ashes everywhere even in the hallways and carpet was disgusting. Cleaning service paid no attention when "cleaning" rooms and we were only provided 2 towels even tho there were 3 of us. Im not a picky person when it comes to a budget hotel but this one was pretty bad!

Check in was fast and very good. Room was clean and had everything it should. Everything functioned as it should, but the carpeting, furniture and condition of the room was probably the worst I have ever seen (almost seedy). No typical book of local amenities, etc. Not enough insulation from hearing airplanes land/takeoff (most hotels near airports do a better job with noise). Ice machine was right outside my door and I heard it each time it was used. Wished I could put the fan on so it would stay on and drown out the outside noise, but it did not work that way. Breakfast will barely passable the first day (not a good variety), ate out day two, no coffee day three. Breakfast faculties were cheap and out dated (uninviting). The only bad advice they gave me was to tell me the Expo Center was just a 20 minute walk - more like 45 minutes (and they could have told me there was a bus on that route - did figure that out on my own on the second day). Local water had a funny taste, they should offer complementary bottled water. They did have a computer and printer for guests to use (nice if your phone can't do that).

Room was clean and remodeled. Nice TV. Good room for a good price.
