My stay was good, people at front desk are very helpful. It seems no matter where you are in louisville everything is twenty minutes away. Hotel is not in the best neighborhood, but i am use to that since i live in down town atlanta.I did feel safe and had no problems with people in neighborhood. The tariff in louisville is great compared to atlanta. The hotel was clean and well maintained. They had a good complimentary breakfast.

Could have been a little more inviting. I stayed in a smoking room but I don't smoke. Had to bring freshener for the smell.

As always, my mom and I had a beautiful stay. A good way to get away from home for a night.

Me and my boyfriend stayed here. The staff had no personality, the hallway and room smelled like smoke, when we were getting breakfast the house keeping ladies were staring us down and not to mention someone broke into my car by busting the back driver seat window out and took my back pack with everything for school in it.... the staff only had 2 front camera's and a SUV was blocking the view of my car and the camera!

The room was clean and comfortable. Had no complaints at all.

was just there for a quick over night stay the room was ready when i got there and the bed was comfy and it was close to everywhere i needed to be without hustle and bustle of downtown.

The last stop on our vacation was great. The clerk at the front deck gave us a city map and showed us how to get to the casino (he had to add to the map).Found the casino and my wife won a little money and I broke even. Had a good time on our last night of vacation.

Average/Good experience. Evening deskclerk was receptive and accommodating. In mornings encountered whom I believe was Owner/Operators...they need to smile more though and act more friendly-like--- Room was freshened well...however, bedspread had oily stain -- asked that it be replaced and was accommodated by the 1 evening desk clerk on hand. Initially asked to change rooms due to the AC not cooling enough but alternate room had a dog-smell so opted to remain in first room. AC finally kicked in and cooled the room. Room furnishings, carpet and bath were very clean -- was not sure about the bedspread due to the oily stain. Apparently, the cleaning staff did not notice when they freshened the room after the previous guest. Fitness equipment was not in the best repair. Otherwise, morning eating fair was fair and plentiful. Site is within 5 miles of my family whom I was visiting for a few days due to family health issues. Overall, good and I will choose to stay there again when I visit.

I was in Louisville for business. The hotel was not that far from where my business meetings were. I had a very nice stay. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Very enjoyable experience! Employees picked us up at the airport and drove us back and forth to Churhill Downs in their own cars. The breakfast was more than expected. Perfect location for easy highway access to downtown Louisville.

Awesome eperience... Employees and manager were very accomodating and friendly. Employees shuttled us back and forth to the race track in personal vehicles. The continental breakfask was better than expected.

I was in Louisville for a wedding across the river in Indiana. The room was very clean. It was big and the refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker were a great touch. And no extra cost. Very convenient to the freeway and downtown. Great room for the money. Friendly personnel and just a great suite.

Staff was very helpful, rooms clean. the facility is relatively new. The surrounding area is a bit run down, and doing without a car would be difficult.

It was a central location that was easy to go back and forth. The hotel was a comfortable atmosphere, that provided a quiet place to work.

Very accomadating staff. Good for business, no frills travel.

nice clean room and vary quiet, hotel staff vary friendly and always smiling.

I went to Churchill Downs for 2 days. Hotel is right off of I-264 about 4 miles from the track. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. I had no issues at all with my stay. For the price, one of the cleaner hotels I have stayed at.

Went to Waverly Hills Sanatorium. Hotel was close and easy to get to

We could here other rooms running water. But, that did not keep us awake. The sink faucet splatters you if you turn it on fast. We learned quickly not to turn it on fast. The beds were great for a motel bed. You know nothing is like your own bed. We were able to park in the same parking spot every night. No fighting over parking. The personnel were friendly. We had breakfast one morning. It was good. We spent most of our time at the convention center so we do not know about the local resturants. The "Thornton" gas station has a great tuna fish salad sandwich. I had not had a tuna fish salad sandwich in years. The subs at "Subway" were good. Overall, everything was great.

One thing that is not told to you is that you have to call the hotel in order to get the shuttle. The shuttle just happens to be the manager in his personal car. This makes for a very uncomfortable situation for females traveling alone. Also, if there was an accident, does he have insurance etc. It took me having to call them to figure out that there was not a shuttle waiting for me at the airport. Also, the room was dated and the beds were hard. I couldn't sleep because of feeling so uncomfortable there. I have stayed at many hotels and this had to be the worst experience I have ever had.
