It was a good price, but the room wasn't anything to brag about. There was toilet paper in bathroom floor upon arrival. We never could get the key to open the door without a security guard helping. The room was pretty tiny for a double.

This Days Inn is right off I-65.... convenient access to & from activities. And older hotel with some updating needed but adequate for sleeping if you plan to do only that! Room 321 was sufficiently clean and my wife & I are pretty particular about that as previous resort owners. The two double beds were average in comfort but we travel with our own pillows. The tub & toilet were both clean as well as the sink area outside the bathroom. The TV was an older model but worked fine with a dozen or so channels. (We don't sit in the room and watch TV) The continental breakfast in the lobby was typical and just fine for a snack before an actual breakfast at nearby Denny's. We always travel with a small fan for 'white noise' as this location has PLENTY of traffic, train and airport activity. Overall our 3 night stay was fine while attending our LIFE Leadership Convention at Freedom Hall Oct. '16 and the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We would probably stay again for the $79.99 per night rate.

Too expensive for its conditions. Its more a motel than a hotel. Deceptive pictures on the web. Qqqqqqqqqw wwwwwwwww wwweww wwwwww

the breakfast was very good hotel was conveniently located

The furniture and room looked tired. The mattress had a plastic cover that made a lot of noise. The refrigerator and microwave were dirty :(

1. The Bedding was very dirty with blood stains on sheets and comforter. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work. It smelled like mold. The air did not work at all. We were there for two days. It was terrible!!! The toilets and bathroom were filthy. Very nasty room!!! I took pictures and saved them. I really want my money back.

Stay away from this hotel, if at all possible. My girlfriend are HUGE on road trips and generally try to find cost effective hotels as we like to use our funds exploring the city. I ranked this hotel quite low (a 1 in fact). I can honestly say, though I appreciate nice hotels, I am far from bourgeoisie. This hotel was simply not well maintained. The overall room was not very clean and very motel-ish. We requested non-smoking, however, the air in the room smelled like a cross between a trash can filled with cigarettes and your grandma's closet. Our entire weeked nights were spent listening to a HUGE motorcycle crew blast there music, argue and scream through the night. While the hotel had nothing to do with them, they certainly did nothing to stop it. I could go on and on about this hotel, but I you would honestly be better suited if you spend a few bucks extra for another hotel (even if you are just staying one night).

Didnt care for this motel .The rooms smelled like bug spray

Location to Expo Center was exxcellent. Room was very clean. Hotel staff very helpful & friendly. Staff all spoke English. Not a lot of choices close to eat at.

It was just a one night stay. Got what I paid for.

I normally don't write reviews for every experience - especially negative ones. However, the Days Inn Louisville might top my list of worst hotels I've been in. I travel quite a bit each year and can find myself staying up to 90 nights a year in a hotel. I can honestly say this was by far the worst. My non-smoking room that I requested smelled of cigarettes. The furniture was old and decrepit. The room did not appear to clean and quite frankly left my scared to sleep in it without being fully clothed. On top of that - the hotel is a congregation for motorcycle clubs. I am by no means anti-bike clubs at all. However, my entire stay I was surrounded by loud bikers airing their music and drinking outside. I even watched hotel staff stand by and watch as this happened. I was looking for a hotel close to the downtown area that was reasonable in price. While the Days Inn fit that criteria, it did not fit anything else.

The hotel itself was very old, but clean. there were a lot of college students. they were loud but the hoel room was sound proof (sort of). So, the overall experience wasn't bad. I would stay again bases in the location and price.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The first room we were given was less than desirable, so we went in and politely asked for a different room. The woman at the desk understood and accommodated us right away, letting us look at two different rooms before we committed to one. The manager was very friendly, and told us that if we weren't satisfied, he would give us a full refund. He said that all he wanted was for us to be comfortable. The next morning at breakfast, that same manager was there and specifically waited to see us and ask us how our night in the new room was. We were happy to say the room we chose was much better. Bottom line: The rooms weren't great, but they were inexpensive and all you could hope for at that price. The service was great and very welcoming.

Free wifi everywhere and breakfast every morning. Easy access on and off the interstate. Walking distance to the college campus, and a short drive to forecastle fest near the KFC yum! Center.

This location was perfect for my needs. Nothing spectacular about the hotel, but it was clean and comfortable.

I didn't expect much, but had I expected creepy, this hotel would have exceeded my expectations! Check-in was easy, staff was nice enough, though I didn't interact with them more than a minute. They forgot to include shampoo, etc in the room (and I know they provide it since friends in the other room had some), the floor was sticky and so I had to wear shoes, the comforter and blanket looked unwashed (I only slept with the sheets so had to turn off the air so as not to freeze and then the room was stuffy - the least of two evils in my opinion), bedding had cigarette burns, the non-smoking room smelled like stale smoke, there was an old condom wrapper left in the room, and curly hairs on the toilet and a couple of the towels (draw your own conclusions). The parking lot had old syringes, roaches scattered in the litter when walking outside, and groups of bikers were loud until the wee hours of the morning. Overall, we just laughed at how awful it was, but I would never stay there again and had I needed to say any longer than the night or had my kid with me I would have left right away.

I ran the Kentucky Derby Festival Marathon and stayed here the night before. I was put in a very quiet corner of the hotel and there was breakfast opened for the runners at 4:30. The staff was very friendly. And the beds were very comfy. It was a very quick drive to the start of the marathon.

Good experience. Very friendly helpful staff. It is a older hotel but it was worth the money.

Very noisy. People across the walkway partied until 2am. Dog barking until after 1am. Traffic noise. Parking is not convenient to rooms.

Clean and cheap. Staff was helpful. Decent breakfast

Thank you for replying to the survey. You are correct we are a motel and not a hotel. However, this does make it easier to get to and from your room.
