Nice hotel close to the state fair. Room was clean and hotel staff were nice. So far I'd rate it a high three to solid 4. However they put us in a room right above the lobby with the hvac room next door. The noise from the lobby was extremely bad then add the noises from the room above us. Seriously as loud as it was I'm surprised that I even give it a two.

We were about two and a half hours early and we were able to get into our room. The room was very nice and clean. The staff was nice and very helpful. Thank you for making our girls weekend a very nice and memorable weekend.

The hotel is within walking distance of the Ky Fair. Nice rooms. I would recommend this place to others.

This hotel is even less than you'd expect for the price. The staff member that checked us in was rude, told us the wrong information about how rooms were charged, neglected to tell us about the shuttle to/from the surrounding attractions, and put us in the wrong room (two full beds instead of a king). When we were moved into the correct room by a different staff member, the keys did not work so I went back down for a third time to have them replaced. During this time another family was checking in and having similar problems with the rude staff member. I imagine this is a common occurrence, because the manager didn't do anything about the argument they were having. When we finally got into our room, there was a leak in the bathroom by the toilet, and the towels (under our sink) were wet. Neither of these things were fixed or replaced despite notifying staff. Other than that, the rooms are fine and decorated nicely. The beds are comfortable but the sheets are very stiff and scratchy. The entire hotel is freezing, so if you are sensitive to the cold bring a sweater. We didn't spend much time in the hotel so I am not super bothered by the amount we paid, but I would not stay here again.

We checked in and the pool was closed. Then the room they gave us had a leak. The next morning the maid came in without knocking before we checked out. My son got sick from the breakfast that morning.

Need to put some money into this place to bring it up to an acceptable standard

Not clean, no towels at the pool, leaking shower head we requested be repaired (they did not.) Struggled to find linens for pull out, as well as shampoo. AC too cold in one room, insufficient in other. Very poorly maintained overall.

Every thing was great from the hotel. However there were a lot of high school children staying the same nights we were. There was a basketball tournament of some sort in the area and there were a large number of 14-18 year old boys staying there. And so that was a little disruptive. And of course, getting within a mile of the breakfast bar was next to impossible. But it was all OK.

Nice, clean and comfortable. I would stay again if I had an early flight or late arrival.

First I wanted to say I was glad to have a reasonably priced stay for the birthday celebrations we had in the month of october. It helped to afford the gifts presented. However the wing I stayed at on the bottom floor room 109 it was incredibly hot I mean the hall, the room, it was undefineable to understand why when the outside temp dropped to the lower 50 degree F. There was no way to air out the place other than an overworked air conditioner. Anyway I went exploring through the opposite wing to go check out the pool fitness room and the hall was chilled. Kinda got irked thinking but I chalked it up to possibly having to pay more to stay in a single king size bed. Anyway as I went out for celebrationary dinner I turned the my individual room air conditioner on the lowest setting with a high speed fan. I assumed the room would cool down but coming back three hours later the room was still a sweat box. 9:39 pm is not a time to wait and see if the aircond will finally get to work more effiently. I asked for another room. The manager obliged but it was the room across the hall. I gotta say this was cleaner the bathrom had all of its ceiling plaster. The air cond worked right away but both rooms had the musky smell of being heated to an extreme with the typical cleaning chem afterglow. Anyway the microwave worked I didnt want to try the fridge but it was there. Planes went over the hotel frequently. So it wasnt far from the airport. The breakfast was a good value plenty to eat eggs, bagels, toast, cereal, biscuits and gravy, sausages, didnt see bacon though, but the waffle iron was a plus very good waffles made. Overall price was fair but the compromise for overall comfort was a draw back especially when its apparent another section of the hotel was better taken care of.

I went the weekend of the Derby and the price was incredibly inflated (Over $500 a night after taxes and fees). I had no major issues other than a significant number of dead ants in the window sill. When we complained they did say they were mailing a $50 gift certificate for future use.

very nice room. clean, quiet. good breakfast. good value for what we paid

Only needed a nights stay. Reserved non-smoking but only could get smoking. A/C leaked water on the floor. Light switch didn't work. Remote missing battery cover. Toilet paper the cheapest, thinnest you can buy. Extreme lack of customer service. Linens for the sofabed were not in the room, and they made us go down to the front desk to get them.
