Came for LTL....it was a room.....that's about all. Not completely clean...tub didn't drain well. Room worked for what we needed but wouldn't return for a different trip
The hotel was really run down and the service was aweful. But the hotel was clean and get what you pay for
I believe that most of the reviews were exaggerated which sounds like hotel is very very bad. However, my experience was not that bad. Yes, there will be people making sounds in hallway at night time, but it is occasional and did not disturb me much. I slept very well, even thought people were talking on hallway. Yes, the elevator smells like cigarette, and some other kind of bad smell. But, I only use elevator a few times in a day. I lived in a non smoking floor, so not much smoke odor on the floor. I am not saying that the hotel is clean, but not extremely dirty and unhealthy also. Yes, the blanket had many cigarette holes on them, but looked clean and washed. Similarly, the mattress had many stains on them, but looked clean and washed. The staff were replying to most of my questions and concerns politely. Overall, the hotel is a unclean, but if you are looking for a cheap hotel, and your destination is close to the hotel, I would consider this hotel as an option. Might not be a good place for family with children though.
This hotel is in the ghetto. I felt very unsafe staying at this hotel. There were very strange people here, several of which 'lived' at the hotel; some of these people would leave their doors wide open so that you could see what all was going on inside. People roamed the halls constantly during the night while yelling. I had to prop a chair against the door in order to feel safe enough to go to sleep as the deadbolt on the door didn't work properly. Amenity-wise, there was no complimentary shampoo and there weren't enough towels in the room. I wish I had paid an extra $1 & booked with a nicer hotel chain.
We first pulled in and the parking lot already looked shady. Walk in and it was filthy. Could tell everyone in the lobby was on drugs. Was actually scared to stay. Took the chance and check in, hallways are gross. Elevator felt like it was going to break. Our door was broken and would barely open or lock. Bathroom was all moldy. Burns mark on and in everything. Looked like it hasn't been cleaned in months. Pillows were a filthy yellow color from stains. Roaches were everywhere!! Ended up checking out an hour later to spend two hours searching for another hotel with a vacancy. DO NOT STAY HERE! Spend the same price and goto the econo lodge down the road. Much much better than Americas best inn and suites.
The Hotel was a pleasure to stay in given the price. For me, this trip, value was most important. But the noise from the highway and the neighbors all night were a challenge.
This was once of the worst hotels I have ever seen! This is not a family friendly hotel at all. all avoid it if at all possible. The hotel is very run down and does not look like the pictures. Upon check in we walked through insect killer getting it all over us, they had sprayed it on the floor to kill what looked to be roaches. When we got upstairs to the room it stunk of body odor and cigarette smoke. The bed sheets had burn holes in them and the mattress had bed bug stains. The walls were very dirty and in the bathroom the back of the toilet was broke. The main entry door was made of wood and was extremly thin. We did not feel safe at this location at all! Do not stay here!!
No bud bugs. Loud next to the interstate. Worked in a pinch
The hotel is located at the end of a street in an OK neighbor hood, but the facility has obviously seen its better days. Dark, smelly, dank. Appears as if some people live in the building. Lighting is dim. Bathroom light had no housing, room and hallway smelled of smoke.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. If I had not paid in advance I would have left before I even checked in. It was dirty, run down and no maid service for 2 days. Mold in the shower, the tub was broken, blanket was full of holes, and just plain filthy. Undesirable looking people hanging out in the lobby and outside. This hotel should be remove from all web sites. Should be rated negative one star.
This is the worst place I stayed ever. Had sleepless night. Very loud. Rooms smelled like a trash bin. Parking area is really scary. Never ever be there. Cancelled my future reservation
HOTEL IS IN MAJOR NEED OF REMODELING! WE BOOKED OUR ROOMS BECAUSE THEY WERE CHEAP, AND WE GOT JUST WHAT WE PAID FOR! BEDS WERE COMFY TO! THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK WAS NOT AT ALL FRIENDLY! WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN A HORRIBLE STAY IF THEY ROOMS HAD NOT STUNK SO BAD!! WE WENT OUT AND BOUGHT AIR FRESHENERS!
Room smells like a sewer, and the hallways smell like dirty feet
The front desk reps were real nice and helpful. The hotel it's self needs a lot of work. It needs updated mostly and things need replaced like the tubs which looked to be burnt from cigarettes. Most of the lights in the room flickered when they were turned on. The bed and blankets were comfortable though. It definitely needs work done.
We felt that staying we would need a radiation suit ,only stayed 1 night out of 2.
This hotel is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. The elevator was dangerous, the room smelled, the bathroom don't get me started rust in the tub no way for my wife to take a bath because no water stop, in no way should use this hotel again! Went down for the mid American truck show for a long weekend and left after just one night even though I paid for 2 nights. Mist out on most of the truck show because of this room. My wife couldn't sleep do to the yelling of tenants all night in the hall. I had one kid trying to get money from me in the elevator. Got back to room at 4pm and nothing cleaned not even fresh towels. Not only was this a waste of money it totally ruined my vacation the only one that I could take in years . Never again will I stay here again
Had to cancel the reservation due to the room being so nasty not able to stay at this site.
This hotel was a loud, dirty, broken down mess!!!! And a little scary too. Probably will not be long before this place goes out of business. Or condemned.
Greeted by a bulldog behind the counter with a sign at the door telling you to make sure you lock your doors and they are not responsible for loss and damage to your vehicle sets the tone for this hotel. If your are desperate and need a cheap place to stay close to the airport and expo center this is it! Bathroom sink clogged, elevator smelled and looked horrible, hallways smelled like an ash tray with burned out cigs jammed along the chair rail.
My plane was two hours late, and I did not arrive at the hotel until midnight. I was met with numerous crack cocaine dealers at the entrance to the hotel attempting to make a sale. I was given a key to a room that was already occupied by someone else, and am fortunate that I was not killed by a drug dealer. The next room I was given was guaranteed to be free of other occupants. Upon entering the room, I discovered that the dead bolt did not work, and the security chain had been kicked off of the door. I piled furniture against the door for fear of my life and checked out the first thing in the morning. This may be the best value in crack cocaine in Louisville, but I would not suggest this location for anyone but the most hardened ghetto dweller.
