At first glance, my wife and I felt we found a nice affordable place to stay in Louisville. We had reserved a non smoking room with a king bed. We got a non smoking room with a queen bed. Strike 1! Once we checked into the room, the AC was on its last life and was so loud, you could hear the TV in the hallway as we had to turn it so loud in order to hear it in the room. Very hot in the room as well. Strike 2!! Also the water stopped working late in the evening preventing showers and toilet from working. Strike 3!!!

I liked the stay and everything but the only thing I didn't like is the towels they are not on their cleanest color

Nice hotel, great channels, friendly staff, a few stains on bedding. But overall stay was excellent and I would visit again. Also great pricing.

However, the room was fine. Staff was super helpful, breakfast was tasty, and the Wifi efficient. It was a little run down, but hey, it was a busy weekend in Louisville and I don't have bed bugs, so it's a double win for me.

you get what you pay for. Good location, no frills.

Good central location by Churchill Downs and within 10min drive of downtown Louisville. Staff were friendly. Room and bathroom were both clean but the room was very damp and did not smell the greatest. Continental breakfast was average. At $70/night not that cheap, but this was the cheapest 3 star review hotel we could find. Basically the hotel was as advertised - a place to spend the night but not to hang around at.

We were in town for a family funeral, the staff was extremely understanding and kind - let us check in early. The room was very clean, which I appreciated more than you could imagine. I would stay there again, close to the interstate and town.

My overall stay at that hotel was okay. But I think there need to deep clean that hotel. The stuff was very nice. There need to upgrade the little breakfast.

I clearly specified a "No Smoking" room and guess what I got, the worst room I could possible get. To start, the hallway smelled like staled cigarettes and the room was even worst!! The air coming out of the air vents feels & stinked like cigarette smoke. I didn't realized that there are still "Smoking" rooms in hotels, obviously they do at this hotel. I asked to be transferred to a non-smoking room and they didn't have any other rooms available due to a convention happening that week. I had one of the worst hotel experiences in all my travels, thanks to Americas Best Value Inn at Louisville, KY. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!

this reservation was booked thru and when I got to hotel the info did not match so it was very confusing and annoying. the hotel took the reservation. in the a.m. found out that was charging me for making reservation.

Hotel staff friendly. Easy parking and easy entry to hotel. Noisy Saturday evening from other patrons in hallway -- had to call in to ask they quiet down. Staff addressed quickly. Tub and sink drains very slow - standing water in both upon usage. I alerted staff at checkout, they said they would get message to maintenance. Overall good stay. Will stay there again next trip to area.

Hotel looks better in the pictures. Staff was there to get a check nothing extra. Got stuck in a smoking room when we reserved a non smoking quite early. Was a place to sleep had to wash everything when we returned home to get the smoke smell out. The Police were there with the K9 taking some drug dealers to jail when we walked in the door the first day not a good first impression.

My room was large, clean, and odorless. Great staff. Comfy bed. Good deal.

was just a wonderful time , thanks

Room was clean, but they gave us the room over the entrance's automatic double doors. It was like someone dragging furniture below us all night, if we weren't exhausted we wouldn't have been able to sleep. Also, the hotel's road sign was across the street and hard to read, making us turn incorrectly.

Overall, it was very average. Housekeeping was weak. They took my dirty towels and didn't leave any new ones, and didn't straighten up the bed or anything else during the entire stay. Front desk was very nice and helpful. Location was close to airport.

Room wasn't very clean, pictures online did not live up to actual facilities

We were in town for my son's graduation from basic training at Fort Knox. We were very busy. We ate breakfast each day and it was good. The rooms were clean and we were very comfortable. The staff were accomodating whenever we asked for anything. I did want to use the fitness room but the treadmill was not working. We did not use the pool it was small and no hot tub. We did have a nice stay. I would stay again.

The room was not clean and pieces of pretzels where next to the bed for the entire stay. Coffee was not replenished. Dirty towels in the elevator and on the floor next to the ice machine.

Late check-in. A big man in counter was lazy. [...]They only had smoking room, but all hallways smell like smoke.I think they got the TV from a garage sale. Very old!!Our keys didn't work on third day. They have to rekey. We left a day ahead after finding another room. [...]And the man in counter (May be the owner) didn't say anything not even a 'have a nice day' when we were leaving! Rude people.Breakfast not good either.
