Much better than the other cheap hotels in the area.

Television did not work, light bulbs burned out, no iron, the roughest towels I've ever used. All around just bad.

Very satisfied with this hotel. Clean room and new appliances. TV in room was nice too. Would definitely recommend.

Connecting door to another room would not lock. Staff was unable to lock it and did not offer any other solution. Therefore, did not feel totally safe in the room. Walls are very thin so I can hear everything from neighboring rooms.

the guy staff is not enthusiastic in helping, the room is not sound proof you can hear the slightest movement from adjacent room and i hate it coz im very sensitive to noise cant sleep, the bed is spring type not comfortable and made my back ache the shower handle is a messed took me few minutes to figure to open over all i didnt have a good night sleep

Smelled, loud, could not sleep there. No iron in rooms either.

Just ok, nothing stood out. Just a place to get a nights rest.

The hotel met our expectations very comfortable room, the room price met our budget and the staff was helpful.

It is good for sleeping only. Bed was ok to sleep on. The breakfast was not at all like breakfast. Water in the shower was slow.

I was back in the same room as my last visit, water pressure was much better, the trash was still in the basket, the room was clean for my next night.............wifi was not alway working as before.....breakfast was good.

Carpet is dirty, but otherwise fine. Good location and very nice management and maids

I waited 25 minutes simply for someone to show up and check me in. If the room wasn't already paid for, I would have gone somewhere else. It's a two star experience for sure but it was reasonably clean and provided a bed which is mostly what I needed.

It was not bad at all. I needed only to stay the night for buisness and it met my needs.

This place was only $55 a night, so you can't expect much. What I did not like about this place was the fact that the walls were TOO thin. You can hear the next room's conversation and television. Not a lot of channels on their TV. However, for the price it is a good deal. Upside: close to Yosemite and a lot of restaurants/fast food places near by. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Great for people who are on a budget.

On a blazing hot day, we appreciated a very capable wall-mounted air conditioner that ran off and on all night. The hotel was mostly filled when we awoke in the morning: we felt that the fair price and higher than average quality of the site drew the people in. However, there was almost no breakfast offered, so we went to a local restaurant.

I booked a room here as I needed a place from where I could drive to Yosemite in the morning and didn't find an affordable place which was a few days before travelling. This is the worst BnB I have stayed in. The mattress had springs coming out, the bed sheet was dirty and the amenities were minimal. However the breakfast options was even bad. They only had a few oranges, coffee and cinnamon rolls. I skipped eating there. The only redeeming aspects were that the staff were not rude and they had microwave in the room. I would avoid any Travelodge in future.

The room ended even before it started. It was a room with no room. Everything in the room was crammed. Don't think about the bathroom size. Whenever the commode flushed I thought it will flush it really out. Even though it was mentioned free wifi in my reservation order, I did not bother to ask bout it. The breakfast was actually like snacks with juice and coffee. I would have called it breakfast if they had kept some kind of cereals. But, the staff was good. Would I sleep there again? Probably yes, if I can't find anything else. Would I stay there ? No.

The hotel is next to a busy st. And close to railway track. Their two king room is very spacious, but is so hot in summer. And it is very noisy. Everything is functioning but very old.

The room was ready upon arrival and very clean, and the beds were firm and all the linens, wallpaper and carpet were fairly new. The room had a slight odor, perhaps from disinfectant spray, that caused us to have to leave the door open most of the time, despite the heat and the need to turn the air conditioner on. The big drawback was that the toilet did not flush properly, so we really couldn't use it. Big minus. Sorry, Travelodge, but we will have to look elsewhere for the next visit to Merced.

It was one night stay. We paid $50 + tax for a room with two queen size beds. The room was spacious and clean. It was very quiet. Everything was in a very good condition. There was a TV, coffee maker, air conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The staff was very friendly. It is a very cost effective motel. They give a very good value for the price. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend it to my friends. In comparison last fall I was in Italy (Rome and Florence) and stayed in hotels with $250 - $300 per night. In terms of space and quality I would prefer Travelodge Merced Yosemite.
