This hotel was dingy and not in a good area. The “deluxe” continental breakfast was far from deluxe... toast, muffin, 2 kinds of cereal, oj. Broken coffee maker. The luggage cart (which was stained and of which there was only one) was kept locked up. The room was spacious and comfortable; well-lit, but the bathroom smelled like mildew. Parking cost $5. Use your money more wisely at the Best Western up the road.

Was good for one night. Very good attention, We are very please. Was a pleasing Place.

This hotel is a nice getaway from the, shall we say, seediness of the area. The airport environs can be a mixed bag, with four-star hotels cheek-by-jowl with crack motels and $5 pizza joints. This hotel has lighted parking, secured entrance after-hours, courteous staff and clean rooms (although the couch was stained and needed cleaning or replacing). I am a contract worker at an aerospace company nearby, and this hotel is the best combination of price and safety/cleanliness that I've found.

This is great if you have an early flight and don’t want to tempt LA traffic. The room is surprisingly nice, clean, mine has a kitchenette too! The TV is fuzzy and only has like 5 channels, but I’m only using this room to sleep in so I don’t mind. The neighborhood isn’t great but as a female traveling alone, I felt perfectly safe and just took uber for dinner. One small complaint - the room key has a magnetic strip that EASILY demagnetizes from smart phones, magnets in wallets & purses. Like by the time I had gotten from the lobby to my room, my card didn’t work. So just be really careful!

It was a lot of noise in the hotel early in the morning

Very close to Lax and to the forum arena, the staff was very friendly and helpful

We stayed one night at this hotel. It was a nice place and had good service.

Rooms are large and clean. Bed is comfortable. Nothing bad to say, other than parking is tight and they charge $5 per night parking. Tv channel selection is good, includes HBO. Stayed here many times.

I'd read some negative reviews about this hotel but the price was good so I gave it a try the night before I flew out of LAX. It was way better than I expected. The staff was friendly. The room was nice and cool when we entered. And it was very clean. I would have no problems staying here again. Also only about 10 min from the airport. The only thing they could improve might be the breakfast. Just a few assorted pastries. Nothing special. But if you're staying at a hotel for only the breakfast, you're doing it wrong. Overall, a much better stay than I was expecting!

Compare to other value hotels near LAX, this one is the most clean and pleasant place to stay. The overall area is a bit sketchy as described in many other reviews, but the hotel is very clean once you get in and there are good number of street parking spots available as well. Decent wifi. Could be a bit noisy depending on rooms as some are close to the main road, but I wear ear plugs, so it wasn't a problem for me to sleep. If you are looking for a value hotel near LAX, highly recommended.

Very clean, comfy, equipped, had everything needed, nice staff, plenty affordable parking, secure, accessible...and had a nice ambience for romance.

Nice staff, hotel in sketchy area. Furniture old and dirty, carpet stained and needs to be replaced, mini fridge smelled the air conditioning not working very well and the bed was good enough. This hotel is fine for one nite nothing more.

Was in the room for multiple-day stay (8-11 days). I've stayed at this hotel before but not had this particular experience in previous visits. On two separate occasions during this stay, I got either a bite or a scratch/bruise from sleeping in the bed. I think it may have been from the bedsheets, and one of these was definitely a scratch/bruise. Both times it stung for several days. My last night I didn't want to take a chance so brought/used my own 100% Egyptian cotton bedsheet, which worked fine.

Would go back anytime. Clean spacious and direct tv vs places with 15 channels

Was good for was we looking for .. near to the airport , clean sheets and secure ...

Clean and comfortable room. I will consider it a great value for the money. Within distance of shopping center as well.

Walls are thin, room smells like cochroach spray when you first enter. Lighting is dim in the room. Breakfast is really minimal and bad --) jam, toast, and muffins. Full beds are rather smaller. Again walls are thin, beware, lol. Overall it is doable if you're looking for a super cheap option. I paid $73 daily when I got a deal through orbitz. Do I think its worth it? ---) NO . Is the hotel one of the cheaper options in LA/Cali ---) YES

Very happy with room. I was expecting a run down room because of the price of hotel but it was very nice looking in there. Had plenty of room more than enough. You will enjoy your stay it's comfy and staff is nice and free food in the morning ! Will be back !

Very impressed with the front desk staff. We travelled from Las Vegas for a medical procedure and not being familiar with the area both the day and night crew were helpful in giving directions to UCLA Medical Center and discussed different routes to take depending on normal traffic. Also offered snacks and drinks in lobby along with 24 hour access to a computer. Room was clean and comfortable with a refrigerator and microwave. Very convenient!

I've stayed at Value Inn in the past and is a good location for a great price! I would definitely stay again.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a feedback for our hotel. We're very sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your stay. We are very sorry for the misconception of our complimentary continental breakfast. As you've stated, we do serve a very basic breakfast. At the time, we were having issues with the coffee maker, but have called the company to service the machine, and it works now. For the luggage cart, we will pass this along to management. Thank you for liking our rooms, however, we will need to talk to our housekeeping staff in regards to the mildew. Thank you for giving our hotel a chance.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed your stay. The TV issue should not be a problem anymore as we have upgraded to High Definition in all the rooms now. Thank you for your feedback on the room keys. As you've stated, they can be demagnetized from smart phones and the magnets that can be found in wallets and purses. Sometimes these issues can arise, but someone is always at the front desk to help re-activate the cards. We're sorry for the inconvenience, but thank you for your feedback.
