Hotel Manager was rude - didn't even greet me when I walked into the "lobby" (which smelled of B.O.). I don't remember him even speaking 1 word! No thank you, no have a nice stay - nothing. When we moved our car closer to the room (which was upstairs even tho I requested a downstairs room) and I went to step out of the car, there was vomit in the parking space right where I was about to step. Cigarette butts all over the place. Parking lot had potholes all over. Room was dingey and smelled musty. They advertised continental breakfast, but I did not want to return to that nasty lobby to try it. We were in town for 5 days, but moved to another "economy" hotel which was much better and about $30 per night cheaper. The pictures of this property are VERY misleading... I understood that it was "economy" but 3 stars is about 2 too many. Would not recommend it to anyone.

first impression - look old and feel kind of dirty 2nd impression upon entering the bathroom - ugh.. it smells. it has strong moldy smell, sign that it hasn't been really cleaned for quite some time. the place is just by the street, so the sound of car passing by is quite loud. if you were asked to give deposit when checking in, make sure you asked for a receipt when i checked out, they claimed that they never asked for deposit, and if they did, show them the receipt. while i can't be 100% sure i was asked for deposit during check in, the website on orbitz/expedia does write that deposit of $70 is required. And since the person who check me in and check me out are both different person, it's really hard to know what happened. So, peace of advice: make sure you do get receipt when they asked for deposit. (while other hotel i checked in didn't give receipt, i have no issue getting the deposit back during check out)

Poor management, all the staffs so negative , unfriendly and mean .i brought the guesses from Asia were so disappointed.

I had another nice stay at the travel lodge in Whittier Ca

In general the motel was clean and nice and the proximity made it easy for me to get to Whittier college to visit my daughter The only issue was the staff were somewhat disengaged and the coffee maker in my room didn't work and they were late in getting the BFast going each morning so I had to go out for coffee and the BFast layout was disappointing

The hote furniture was sticky and filthy the remote was also dirty the air conditioner wasn't working

Rooms are old and is desperate need of renovation. The bathroom was in terrible conditions - toilet seat broken, old and dirty. The towels were old and looked dirty as if unwashed. Will never stay there again .

Starting off with customer service was horrible. The manager was rude and careless. The room smelled bad. The restroom light did not work. The room light kept going on and off all night. When we complain about our room they didn't even give us a discount. Bad hotel. Don't recommended it at all.

Toilet wouldn't flush before I fixed the handle/stopper in tank; tap water smelled somewhat foul, a bit like sewage; toile paper holder was broken, wouldn't hold tp roll. Comfortable bed; decent-sized mini fridge.

Love this place! Excellent staff, great price, and cleanliness!

The front desk was friendly but the rooms need to be updated. The furniture and bedding is very old and in poor conditions especially for the price.

No frills, clean room, light on amenities. If need a room just to sleep and be gone....this is your place.

A very basic room at a price that made me expect more. But it was clean and quiet.

We stayed there a few nights. It Was good for family. We just needed a place to sleep at night. We spent the whole day out and wanted a cheap place in a safe place to stay. .

Although management is not very friendly the place is well lite and secured. I felt safe coming in late at night and the rest of the staff is friendly and curtious.

Spent three days at this travelodge. The location was perfect for me. The staff was friendly. Will stay again.

I was kind of nervous thinking that it was not going to be good but it turned out to be better

It's a dive. Filthy. Housekeeping even skips visits with fresh towels etc. if I could get my money back, I would. I usually eat my dinner at 10 pm when I get off work, but couldn't bear to eat in that room. Just disgusting. And they charge for ice.
