Dirty beds sheets. The room smell bad. Wouldn't go back to this hotel. The only good thing about this hotel. It's close to the manhattan beach.

Business trip, needed hotel near LAX. Probably won't stay again. Severely needs updating (stucco-ish surfaces) and fixes (water fountain out). Elevators (two sets) took ages. Staff was nice, check-in was easy. King room was a nice size with kitchenette, but the layout was awful - it was a narrow U-shape, so the room had no central point. Example, you had to either lay down diagonally or tilt your head weirdly to watch TV from bed, likewise, there was no way to even view the TV properly from the desk. The bathroom area was actually quite large but it was split into the shower/toilet area and then the sink/vanity area - all with barely any counter space for toiletries and no counter top in the shower area for glasses and whatnot (guess you're supposed to use the top of the toilet, eww). Good hot water supply. Toilet whistled for a solid 45 seconds after every flush. Closet was OK, but very small and not enough hangers. Finicky heating unit. Linens for pullout couch were old (pill-y blanket; ripped sheets), and there is no way to walk past the pull-out when it is out... it totally cuts off the room. Electrical plug on desk did not work, but there were some other plugs around the room - bedside lamps did not have plugs, you have to use one behind the end table (and likely unplug something in the process). Parking lot was safe-ish. Not gated, no security; people milling about at night. Hotel near main roads, but barely anything within walking distance. Free breakfast was a B-

It was ok..we got there pretty late but overall it was ok. AC out was to load.

Room was dirty, fridge was off and smelled terrible and the room layout was not ideal. Bathroom and sink area are in the middle of the room making it impossible to get ready without waking people up who are sleeping. There were two double beds when there was plenty of room for queens. Also the room size was pretty small compared to other "Suite" hotels under the Marriott flag.

Stayed here for 1 night before morning flight out of LAX. Hotel was very clean and comfortable in nice area with plenty of options for dinner. Bed was very comfortable and made it to LAX quickly the next morning. Overall, this was a great value for the price and I wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

We stayed two nights while my daughter and I were looking at area colleges. We were out and about during the daytime and appreciated the comfortable beds at night. Excellent breakfast. This is our favorite hotel in the South Beach area.

Great hotel. Clean convenient Easy parking Will definitely stay here again

The hotel was nice, but was told one of the elevators was not working on the first day but they have someone coming out to fix. It never got fixed my entire stay. We ended up using the stairs a lot. The breakfast was great and the kids got excited for the Belgian waffles... But guess what those apparently are only on weekends.

Room was clean, staff very nice and complimentary breakfast was delicious.

We always stay here when visiting my daughter at college. It's clean and the staff is nice. The breakfast is decent, nothing fancy.

Great hotel. Close to Manhattan beach. Yummy breakfast. Spacious.

Room was relaxing after a long day at competition. Wish we could have used the spa, but there were too many young kids playing in it to even attempt to try.

Hotel room was well appointed and comfortable. Staff were cheerful and very helpful. The main disappointment was breakfast, during my 3 night stay I went the first morning and after my experience I did not go again and instead left the property for breakfast elsewhere. it was very poorly organized and totally overcrowded. Paper plates and plastic cutlery were in use, first time I've seen that at a "3 star hotel". The area was a mess, from serving areas, dining tables and overfilled refuge bins. The well intentioned service attendant was completely overwhelmed and needed assistance to maintain a hotel like service. I would recommend a review of this culinary operation, it is located beside and in full view of reception so anyone arriving at the hotel during breakfast will not get a good first impression. The pool and jacuzzi are located in the car park, I would recommend some dividers or even trees or plants to be positioned to make it feel a little more secluded, In its current setup it is not very appealing to use.

The boyfriend and I stayed here for a night to visit my family. The staff was nice and we had a really quick check-in. Downside, they charge $8.00 for parking in an open lot. Usually I'm happy to pay for parking that has some sort of gate and fencing, but this was literally an open parking lot. They said they had security but I never saw anyone. Either way, the room was clean and there were a lot of amenities like a full kitchen sink, microwave, fridge, etc. Definitely a good stay for a weekend trip.

Nice rice, spacious, clean, the free breakfast was great, staff was friendly. Overall nice experience.

This hotel is not near the airport. It is five miles away. This does not stop them from charging for parking just like a real airport hotel. If I wanted to pay for parking I would have stayed on Century and actually been close to the airport. If you don't have a car, make sure you eat before you arrive because there is nothing near this hotel except for a busy (and noisy) train yard. Not exactly sure what makes these rooms "suites". I always thought of a suite as two seperate rooms where one person could work or watch TV while another slept. That wouldn't work here. There is just a little piece of wall seperating the sleeping area from the sofa area. it's really just one slightly larger than usual hotel room with a mini-fridge. Continental breakfast looked pretty decent if you can get near it. Unfortunately, the breakfast room is far too small for a hotel of this size. One minute after breakfast opened, every single seat in the breakfast area was full. People were sitting on the sidewalk in front of the hotel to eat. If you are lucky enough to find a seat, get ready to make some new friends because a large percentage of the available seating is at big communal tables. As is often the case with these "suite" type hotels, I got the distinct inpression that some people were living here full time. The hotel was very noisy for several reasons..It's next to a busy train yard, the walls are thin and it was packed with children and teenagers who spent a good amount of time wandering the halls in packs. Although I did not use it, I noticed that the pool is located in the middle of the parking lot. The elevators are painfully slow. There is really no reason to use this place as an LAX hotel. Stay on Century, return your rental car the night before your flight, eat breakfast at McDonalds or at the airport. Save money. It's certainly what i will do next time.

The stay was worth it. The room had a different smell but it wasn't too bad. When I asked for towels they came right away, the breakfast was good and the pool was ok. I would stay there again.

Pleasant, clean, friendly service, safe, fantastic breakfasts, spacious rooms, microwave and refridge, free parking, free wifi, close to LAX great value

Summer in the restaurant was wonderful Housekeeping did a job

Nice, clean and spacious rooms. Mediocre location, but close to the airport. Good breakfast.
