We went to the convention center for CatCon and this hotel was a great location and had good parking.

Our room floor and beds were on a slope, soft spots in floor, Smelled like a smoker lived there, no hand soap-biggest of all on our first night someone was assigned our room and opened our door at 11:20 pm. We left the next day even though our booking was for four nights. Staff very apologetic but....sorry - ladies need to feel safe when they travel.
The good: The location is great to old town pasadena. The bed was pretty comfy! The bad: It's obvious this property has not been updated in a long time. The linens were stained and the door/windows had significant air gap, which means you heard every person in the courtyard, of which there were many loud ones at all hours of the night. The ugly: Wall patch throughout my room, worn down fixtures, low grade bathroom lighting.
Clean, quiet, blackout curtains, friendly staff, mini kitchen, great parking and fantastic location! We will definitely stay here again.

I recommend having housekeeping check on top of the closet cabinet as there was a box of condoms up there. Our toilet ran all night/day and we had to get a new room key for all three days of our stay due to hotel staff not properly checking our length of stay which was inconvenient after returning each day from visiting our mother who was in her final days. Each time I returned to ask for a new key they asked which room and gave me new keys without even comparing my ID to the booking OR the proper length of stay/room which was not very safe feeling. AC unit is extremely loud. We actually went and bought a fan because it made it incredibly difficult to sleep.
Great location but the place itself is disappointing. There were ants in the room and shower was broken. The room had no supplies -- no towels, no hair conditioner, no hair dryer. To make it worse, the staff didn't bring out the items right away and we had to request some of them several times.
Good location but needs a lot of maintenance updates.
A dump. Sink cracked, towel rack fell off the wall. outside area walls cracked and broken. Toilet was running intermittently. TV worked intermittently.
Very nice hotel! The building looked old, but the two queen room was remodeled, spacious, and clean! Liked my stay at this hotel.
