Very friendly staff, great amenities and close to beach!
Very clean and quiet
I recently stayed with family and friends at Westdrift for the 4th of July weekend. The property is in a beautiful, safe, family friendly area close to the airport and Manhattan beach. Due to the Covid concerns make sure before you check in the hotel, you let the front desk know to schedule cleaning daily, robe, extra soap, keurig (I just needed hot water for tea), and extra towels otherwise they won't have it ready in the room. Check in was smooth. The staff member who did my late night checkin was a bit rude, I had asked daily schedule cleaning, he said he will put it in but didn't and seem a bit confused and showed a bit of an attitude when I had asked him to add any service as listed on the West Drift website made it seem like I was burdening him with my requests. Maybe he was having a bad day. The morning staff was amazing and had everything ready. The resturant isn't open to sit down dining, but you can order room service. The bar is open and you can sit in the lobby which is very safe and beautifully decorated. The parking is a bit pricey at about 40 dollars a day, it very safe and easily accessible, multi entry/exit just make sure you keep your room key in handy or you won't get in or out. If you are in the area check out Randy's donuts (very fresh and unique donuts). Also, everything seems to close by 8 p.m. near the area so you might have to travel a bit farther for late night dinner options. There is a water refill station. I highly recommend this hotel.

A nice two day stay. Staff was friendly. Restaurant and fitness center were closed due to Covid, but room service was available.

We enjoy staying at this property. Unfortunately due to COVID restrictions it was very quiet and it was not our usual experience. We did get a good night's sleep and the room was very clean and comfortable.
Didn’t really enjoy my stay here. It says - kids friendly! But it’s not. They don’t even have a changing table in the restroom by the pool. Service was so so. I understand that after pandemic is hard to make everything perfect. But I was waiting for my breakfast for 30 min, and after that I received just half of the order., because they forgot the rest. Needed to call again and ask for the rest. Prices are high for the food, when they brought it, everything was in boxes! Inside the box the food wasn’t just lay somehow beautiful! It was smashed and looked terrible! Also our room didn’t look like at the picture on orbitz at all!!! So I changed to another one! So a lot small complications ruined my stay.
