The room we checked into had a terrible odor. We informed the front desk of the issue and they sent housekeeping to check and clean the room. When we returned six hours later, the room still had the terrible odor but now with an strong odor of cleaning products on top of the bad odor. We were moved to an upgraded room but it is hard to understand why the hotel was renting a room with such a strong odor and did not just move us right away when the odor could not be eliminated. A very disappointing beginning to our stay.

Excellent I liked it a lot because it has all the sites of interest nearby

Great room. Unbelievable location if wanting to visit downtown Los Angeles. The staff that we dealt with was negative, though.

While the room was very nice, I did have 2 issues, 1. I had no wi-fi all evening even after calling the front desk. It was working the next morning as I was checking out. 2. The room I was in was directly over the free concert they had in the lounge. Otherwise it was a great room.

stayed here for a clippers game overall great place this is however a downtown hotel and the outside construction/traffic was early and loud i was also awoken by someone in the next room talking on the phone would expect better soundproofing in this century

I stayed with you 16th -20th Feb, I asked for a day room on the 18th for the 20th because of flight change and was told to check on the last day, when i did in the morning was told i could get a room but only if i paid a full room rate for a maximum of 51/2 hours??? Disappointing!very bad!. Your system was down on check out day and was told my receipt will be emailed to me, i left my business card just in case...it has been five days since i arrived back home and no receipt! SAD!

Nice hotel across the street from LA Live, great access to bars, restaurants. Was in town to watch my NHL team play the LA Kings at Staples Center.

The staff was courteous and friendly in every encounter. Food in restaurant was tasty. And dunks are bar were delicious. Would stay here again.

Close to staples and l.a. live. Also close to the metro stops. Maybe a little expensive but still a better deal than others at the area.

The management is horrible! I have stayed here in the past as the hotel's location is close to my work locations. But, unfortunately, I had a prepaid room reserved but, I also suffered a fraud transaction on the credit card I used to reserve the stay! I was not able to stay at the hotel but, I also lost out on a $300.00 room! The manager was unwilling to do anythong to assist me. Even though, I had stayed there less than two months earlier! The Luxe City Center is a joke! I will never stay there again! I will advise all of my friends to avoid this place as well!

the hotel looks really nice on the internet but once you get there it is not the same thing it is an older Hotel the windows were filthy dirty you couldn't see outside the shower was dirty the shower head was disgustingly gross dirty. we could not sleep at night because we kept itching. they double charged me for room service I paid with cash and I got a fee on my credit card. It was both worth it. I could of went somewhere else nicer and cheaper with free breakfast.

Very accommodating staff and large room that was comfortable. The bathroom was great as well. The location was central, with many places to eat within walking distance. We'd stay there again!

Usually stay at a hotel across the street, but that was full. So, found this one and decided to give it a try. From the moment we pulled in the driveway, racing against the clock for an appointment, the staff was kind, patient and willing to help. No one staff member stood out, because all of them were helpful and polite. The Lobby was clean; the bar, inviting. Our room was a nice cool preset temp without freezing us. The view wasn't great, but it IS downtown LA. The Bathroom had an amazing shower. The lighting comfortable without being dark or harsh and bright. We will definitely be back for a next time.

perfect location to go see a game. lots of places to eat or grab a drink. the hotel itself was more than adequate.

At first we thought this was a great hotel great location until we arrived home and found an item we purchased missing from our luggage which was placed in our luggage the day we purchased it. although it was something that wouldn't need to be in the safe we felt placing inside our luggage it would be fine in our luggage. When we arrived home and realized the item was no longer there we contacted the hotel The hotel did not do anything to compensate us for the loss or even cared that it was missing. We asked them to replace this item that was all we asked for and they refused. Please don't wast your time on booking this hotel

Across the street from LA live and the Staples Center. Staying anywhere near here will be expensive. Add for overnight parking if you drive.(we paid $40 for 1 night.) Otherwise the room was a nice size, with a large flat screen TV. Well stocked bathroom. Kuereg machine in room. The only thing not within walking distance were convenience stores, so pick up supplies before you arrive otherwise you'll be paying to use the rooms minibar.

This hotel was a great location for catching a hockey game at Staples Center. The room was comfortable and a great size. Other than some loud guests (which the hotel quieted down quickly) our stay was great!

great location, clean hotel, friendly staff. would highly recommend and would stay again.

We booked this hotel for it's location, it was walking distance to the convention center. With so much dowtown traffic, it was difficult to get to the hotel. When we arrived valet parking was excellent. The design of the lobby was interesting but It did not reflect the wonderful, spacious rooms. overall a good experience.
