The staff made us feel very special. Perfect spot next to LA live

Some many delicious restaurants within walking distance. Nice bar in the hotel & very friendly staff.

Now impressed with how we were handled. The hotel was clearly not fully booked when we checked in but still we were placed on the 3rd floor with the view of a parking lot with our outside window sill very dirty of bird poop and things people don’t want to look at.

This is a very pleasant hotel but one should note that this was originally built as a Holiday Inn. While extensively renovated with nice quality trim they did not put in central A/C so you still have a nicely covered wall A/C with the noisy fan and uneven temp. You can also easily hear other doors slamming. I expected more for the price.

Went to LA for a Kings game. It was great to be right next to LA Live and be able to experience the restaurants and bars near Staples Center. Staff were great and very accommodating. Not a "nickel and dime" hotel. Gave us free waters upon arrival and when we departed. Very pleasant stay.

Clean and comfortable. Good location. All was good. It is in the heart of downtown, though, so it is not quiet. Does not bother me, but if you sleep lightly bring ear plugs. Would stay again. Was very pleased.

Nice hotel, very good kovation for downtown LA activities.

great location.. great staff.. large rooms pleasant atmosphere energy saving implementations

The walls are so thin that they might as well have curtains between rooms. We were woken up in the middle of the night to loud music and sex in the room next door. I kept trying to call the front desk but got a busy signal every time. This was at about 2am. Luckily, the guy next door hadn’t read “How to Make Love All Night and Drive a Woman Wild” by Barbara Keesling, because the music and sex stopped soon thereafter. However, I wasn’t able to fall back asleep for a couple hours. We were also really thirsty and had to take a water bottle from the mini bar, which was like $10 plus tax. We actually had a jug of water in our car which I was going to grab in the morning. Since they valet your car ($46 btw) you either have to take everything with you when leaving your car or go back down to the car with a valet attendant. I didn’t want to go down at 2am in my pajamas. Just a couple of inconveniences to plan for when staying here. Also, we watched the Lakers absolutely get slaughtered by the Thunder. Very unfortunate short trip to LA.

Stayed here 4 nights for rose bowl and it was just ok. There is no pool, gym is tiny, and staff/service inconsistent. Concierge was great, maids were accommodating, but hallways were nasty (had used teeth flossers on carpet in my door way), waited forever for elevators and the bar tenders sucked. The room is large but bathroom is tiny. Not a luxury hotel but average in my book.

We had a great stay here! the hotel is beautiful, and modern, it's in a perfect location and a lot less expensive than the JW or the courtyard. the service was amazing, Gina at the front desk was super hospitable and made sure she reserved me of refrigerator for my room when I called the day prior. The lounge is awesome! Great food great drinks and they have Happy hour. We completely forgot to bring a wine opener for our drinks in our room and when I called downstairs. They brought it to me in 2 mins flat! the beds were super comfortable, and the room was more than spacious enough to host 3 adults! not one complaint! my sister and my brother-in-law already said that next time we go to LA live we are definitely staying at the Luxe again!

Pleasent stay. Rooms are staring to look a little dated.

We stay for a night so we can attend an Oath Ceremony at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Our room was nice and comfortable. I took my 3 and 1 year old son and we were able to walk to Target (6-10) mins away to get milk and snacks. Our view was the ESPN and Staple Center. Great View. Restroom's great and love the mirrors.

We stayed there for 3 nights. It's very close to FIDM, the Staples Center, etc. The building looks old but it's been gut renovated and is in very good shape. Staff is excellent.

It's great it's located in downtown and that's the only reason you should pay the rates at this hotel. We went to a concert at the Novo, and the Luxe is conveniently located across the street. The staff was very very friendly. The room we got was so so. We were at one end of the building. There was something brown on one of the pillows. Also, there was a lot of noise from a nearby building. If we weren't so tired from our concert, I'd probably have a really hard time sleeping. But hey, that's DTLA.

Love it. Beautiful. We had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant. Room was clean and so Comfortable

Clean, good service and amenities. Food was also enjoyable.

When I entered my room - everything was fine, except there was really loud high frequent noise from some fan somewhere nearby. It was really loud, so I asked to relocate me to another room. I was told, that just couple of rooms left and all of them are on same 3rd floor, so I was relocated to another room on same floor, though quite far from my first room. And it had same loud high frequent noise!! It was ~2am, I was very tired, so I gave up and tried to fall asleep. After ~1 hour of unsuccessful attempts to fall asleep - I just walked to another hotel nearby and got a room there. It was awesome and even cheaper than my room at Luxe. Next morning when I returned to Luxe to check out - they even charged me early check out fee. So I ended up paying for 2 nights in rather expensive hotel for not spending even single night there... I can't imagine how any hotel can afford such noise inside room.

The room we checked into had a terrible odor. We informed the front desk of the issue and they sent housekeeping to check and clean the room. When we returned six hours later, the room still had the terrible odor but now with an strong odor of cleaning products on top of the bad odor. We were moved to an upgraded room but it is hard to understand why the hotel was renting a room with such a strong odor and did not just move us right away when the odor could not be eliminated. A very disappointing beginning to our stay.

Excellent I liked it a lot because it has all the sites of interest nearby
