We booked this place for the location and price. We didn’t realize that it was going to be as run down as it was. But please don’t get me wrong, this place has soooo much potential. I loved the brick wall and the space. But I hated the holes in the bathroom walls and the shower. The toilet paper holder and the towel racks were taken off the walls and the holes remained in the walls. The shower head was very old and the water came out like a faucet with calcium deposits stuck inside. I was woken up in the middle of one of the nights to a random person screaming in the hallway. The location was not the best. It was in a centralized area but it was on a random street with no parking. But thankfully, it wasn’t too difficult to find street parking. So overall, if you’re looking for just a place to sleep, this is a decent choice. The staff was incredibly friendly. But I honestly don’t plan on returning.

It’s not a hotel, it’s more a very old building that got renovated. For this price, location, and space (it included a kitchen) there’s nothing else to complain

Clean. Kitchen was stocked with good amount and variety of dishes. Nice dinner table. Nice aesthetic. Nice vintage posters. New York vibes. Creepy Coraline vibes. Cute front lawn. 2 towels for five people. No AC or Heater. Very cold at night. Close to many food spots. One half of toilet paper roll. Linda. Poster on a window says “NOT A HOTEL.” NO GOOD PARKING. Pay for parking during 8am-8pm if that’s all there is. Late check in. Elevator doesn’t work. Rude staff lady on morning shift hung up on me. They apologized. I forgave them. So overall it was an odd experience but I enjoyed it? The people staying with me didn’t enjoy it so much lol.

This place is a dumpster fire, and you should probably avoid it. We enjoyed how close it was to Hollywood Blvd and Thai Town. Definitely, a must to get Jade noodles from SAPP coffee house! The suite was spacious with full fridge. Additionally the residents and guests of this place proved very entertaining. The concierge/host was very welcoming even offered a bottle of wine after walking us to the room. Before going you should know that this place is in the middle of a transition from low cost housing to hotel...the tenants aren't happy and are vocal about it. Each day residents we're sitting in the front court yard sharing their opinions to guests including warning of lead paint, black mold, and asbestos. The front security gate was constantly propped open, and provided no security. The room door locks are flimsy and could be open with a firm push, with no security chain or bar to lock the door while you are in the room. The suite was spacious, but was basically small apartment that had recently had a fresh thick layer of paint applied with Ikea furniture and decorations tossed in. The bathroom was however tiny with a stuck open window, dirty medicine cabinet, and black mold in the shower. We booked a king but after much confusion in the lobby, we ended up with there only remaining room which had a queen bed. The bed and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. The elevator was reportedly working, but not operational as it had yet to pass certification.
