- Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities
This place is a dumpster fire, and you should probably avoid it. We enjoyed how close it was to Hollywood Blvd and Thai Town. Definitely, a must to get Jade noodles from SAPP coffee house! The suite was spacious with full fridge. Additionally the residents and guests of this place proved very entertaining. The concierge/host was very welcoming even offered a bottle of wine after walking us to the room. Before going you should know that this place is in the middle of a transition from low cost housing to hotel...the tenants aren't happy and are vocal about it. Each day residents we're sitting in the front court yard sharing their opinions to guests including warning of lead paint, black mold, and asbestos. The front security gate was constantly propped open, and provided no security. The room door locks are flimsy and could be open with a firm push, with no security chain or bar to lock the door while you are in the room. The suite was spacious, but was basically small apartment that had recently had a fresh thick layer of paint applied with Ikea furniture and decorations tossed in. The bathroom was however tiny with a stuck open window, dirty medicine cabinet, and black mold in the shower. We booked a king but after much confusion in the lobby, we ended up with there only remaining room which had a queen bed. The bed and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. The elevator was reportedly working, but not operational as it had yet to pass certification.
