Great hotel in LA
So much good
This hotel is nice overall. Valet parking made it super easy to get my bags out the car, every staff member was helpful and courteous, and the views from the junior suite room were amazing. With that being said my gf and I left the hotel after only being there for 7 hours and went to Hotel Indigo. We were under the impression the room here had a bathtub we’d be able to relax in, it did not. The shower itself also had very low water pressure and a broken shower head so that aspect was very disappointing, so much so we left around midnight.
I did not like having to go to the 70th Floor to transfer to my room and back to the street level.
There was strikes riots going on the the days I stayed. I wished I didn’t have to deal with the noise they were making from morning to evening. Besides that, everything was excellent with my stays.
The views weee amazing.
There were so many things gone wrong. The keys didn’t work so we had to get new keys twice. The front desk staff Manny asked me to show my ID but it was in the room and I am locked out so his question was not that smart. He didn’t apologize the inconvenience. He just asked me to wait for a security guid and demanded me to show my id to the security guard. I waited for a while but a security guard didn’t show up. I had to leave for a breakfast. I returned to the front desk and requested a new key. Another staff was smart. He checked my name on my Apple ID and she issued new keys right away. The first staff was kind of unfriendly. A water kettle was missing so I had to request it. A shampoo was missing. An espresso machine was broken. I was locked out from my room twice.
I am a platinum Orbitz member. The hotel upgraded my room and provided a 2 pm late check out. The front desk staff Alberto was very friendly and helpful. This is my favorite hotel in LA.
