Being the location and the price I didn't expect to be great to begin with. The woman that checked us in was snooty in mentioning no in and out of the hotel as if we were children. Yet why would it matter if I choose to leave when I please. The man that checked us in was dressed pretty sloppy and showed no professionalism at check in. I honestly thought he was a guest. The room was actually a cute little room with plenty of space and balcony. However the room was also roach infested and we were not able to keep our food in the kitchen.

The WiFi didn't work. They never told us where to find breakfast. he staff was very rude.

...This is the place. Negatives: no hangers or drawers in our room. No room service, Mini fridge didn't work, ants in bathroom, hall smelled like puke in the AM, microwave at continental breakfast was filthy. they were towel nazis - did not want to give more then 2 towels even though we had 3. Parking was the worst had to park more then 3 blocks away.

It's a trap. It's like a horror movie. My room was never clean. My shower was flooding they gave me a new room and the toilet was not working. I had to go downstairs for towls (no phones), no wifi, there was nothing just a smelly room. My room was never cleaned, roaches were everywhere. No elevator so you have to drag your bags up flights of stairs.

Unique and convenient. A lot for the price and the staff was very helpful. It was clear I was not at a chain hotel - and I liked that!

Good location and helpful staff. Good value for price.

Didn't stay longer than 5 min. Walked in the room and saw one cockroach on the wall and two ran under the bed.

The hotel was ok. Quite old and not so well maintained. The front desk attendant, of the night shift, had no will to treat well the incoming guests.

I booked the room last minute, seriously 30min before arrival. When I pulled up to the hotel I noticed there wasn't any where to pull up and check in so I just parked in a red zone, put my hazards on and ran in. When I got inside I was taken back by the state of the place. The floors are warped and uneven and it overall smelled of mold. The guy doing the check in was an even bigger joke. No proffecialness at all. I asked where their free parking was and he said anywhere on the street is free. I wasnt comfortable parking on the street, especially since the only spot on the street was two blocks down or completely around the block. I expressed this and all he kept saying was "I just work here I don't know what to tell you. I park on the street all the time. I told him I want to cancel and he said there would be fees. I don't feel I should be charged for their false advertising on parking. I was very dissatisfied and ended up driving 4 hrs home that night. Above I had to fill in all fields so I don't have a ratting on cleanliness or comfort. But if the rooms are anything like their office bathroom I would've been appalled at the filth.

We didn't stay cause I wasn't going to put my family into any danger. The hotel looked like a drug house from outside. All the windows were gated the outside was very run down, it was dirty and bums surrounded the place. Even if I was by myself I would have not stayed there. This area isn't s safe place to stay.

Staff extremely accommodating All went well the breakfast was quite the varieties from cereal..to pastries fresh fruit, orange juice, milk

better book a real hotel. no parking , our car was towed , we parked 20 minutes away from the hotel worat hotel ive ever stayed, I shouldn't have booked at all! only upside is ... its close to hollywood walk of fame ...other than that was terrible!!! to add there was no elevator and no staff to help us with our luggage! worst ever!

My first impression when I walked into this hotel was that I thought I was in the Bates motel. They should not even call this hotel, because it is not, It's nightmare on Elm street.

The Hollywood Dream Suites is not what I expected… It is a building with hotel rooms mixed with apartments. It is a much older building that needs some updates and cleaning. The ceiling fans were dusty and the shower and sink moldy. The staff was kind but don't have a late arrival because the office closes at midnight.

1st no parking, they had to move a car to fit us in. 2nd The pictures on the web are not what you get. Our bed was in the middle of the floor no headboard, on wheels, we rolled it to the wall but had to roll it back to open the door. We booked the Lucile Ball suite, this was no suite, we felt as if we kick someone out of their room. Lucy would not want her name on this hotel. We left and drove to LA and stayed at a different hotel. The hotel is a joke and a bad joke at that, I am disappointed that you did not investigate before putting it on your list of hotels to choose.

Warning! Don't book at Hollywood Dream Suites unless you like a dirty disgusting room. This is not a hotel but an old rundown apartment building! Do you want to sleep on a dirty old hard mattress with stained bed linens and take a bath in bathtub with peeling paint flaking off? There is only street parking if you are lucky to find it. I would never stay here again and you should not!

The hotel is just old, smelly and loud. Basically a big house. The staff was really nice but the hotel over all sucked. We could trust the blankets so we slept over them. We avoided the shower as well. Not fun at all. Definitely read the reviews. They aren't lying.

We drove up and looked for a parking place, no off streat parking like it said. We had to park 3 blocks away. Buzzed to get in and a stuffy odor came out the window. Before check in I asked to see rooms, u asked if it was a residential building and YES it is. No elevator like it said. He (Mick) showed 3 different rooms. They were all stuffy and stinky, Mick agreed. No place for kids, I had 2. After seeing the rooms I asked to cancel so I could go elsewhere. I was told the owner gives NO REFUNDS. I decided we had to stay there so I choose the first room since it smelled like bleach, stuffy bleach. The stove was filthy. As I went down to check in, my nephew came down to tell me there were cockroaches. Mick said there wasn't. I went up to see and found 2 and took photos. We left immediately! I took a loss for our first night but the owner have a refund for the second night. I'm not hard to please. I'm a mother of 2 and I work hard for my money. I don't have unrealistic expectations but this was very disappointing! BEWARE. I don't know where the good reviews come. I suppose if you are traveling alone or with no children and don't mind cockroaches, this is the place. No where near walking distance to Hollywood blvd.

very helpful and informative employees. went out of there way to help me out!!

Dearest Mike Thank you for your response, We had a movie filming on the street and there where a lot of Actor and Actresses out A Vin Diesel Film across the way, and the Grammy Parties, yep we do have people pull into the red zone which is directly in Front of the Building some times Double Decker buses are outside, Yes the entrance of the building is incredible cute quirky The foyer is and actual stage when you enter the property.... your own a stage, this is a historical property, not normal hotel..... the flooring isnt warped its a stage pre established from the year 1904, we do park on the streets and have no problems with all of the filming and celebrities security cameras, its just part of being in a historical building, we offer location location location across from Paramount Studios and Hollywood Forever in the Heart of Hollywood. We offer our apology on the office we had sooo many people from the Grammy's and Intl National clients we were so busy.... People popping in for coffee, and needing directions
