I like that people need a card key to get in the premises which makes you feel secure. I didn't like the air conditioning because it was noisy and it was hard to fall asleep with the a/c noise.

This hotel had reasonable price and good location with free parking and free breakfast.

It's clean, with lockable gates everywhere. The staff is friendly. The pool is a mockery but you can see that in the photos already, we didn't need it anyway. The breakfast included is very basic, at a self-service eatery 2 doors down the street. Location is quite noisy, sirens and wannabe dragracers all night kind of place. Overall, everything worked as designed.

This hotel has a nice staff. The facility is rundown in need of paint and attention to detail. A lumpy bed and old pillows await along with bolts holding the balcony door shut with room located 10 feet from Hollywood Blvd. The walls and windows are so thin you can hear people outside not to mention the roar of cars. I felt like i had a hangover everymorning as it was very restful sleep and probably exaust fumes from the road. Perhaps the back half of rooms would be acceptable.

Pool is not useful. Room and location was great. Checkin was fast. Good off street parking

The only good things about this hotel are the location and breakfast included. It is close to everything, the bus stop and the metro station. Breakfast was ok. I stayed there for 3 nights but I needed it for a week. I thought it would be nicer because they charged almost 200 per night but it was a dissappoiment. It isn't worth the price. This is a motel not a hotel, its very old and needs maintenance. Chipped walls, rusty blankets, uncomfortably soft beds and a pool that nobody wanted to to in. Luckily the owner authorized a 4 days early check out and we could move to other place.

Very slow wifi, good parking and free breakfast. Would stay again. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Easy checkout.

Weekend trip to LA, nice little hotel with a Family atmosphere and walking distance to plenty of food choices! The pool was very busy on a hot day! Breakfast is a little better than the average free meal.

Good location. Needs some TLC. Didn’t try the breakfast. A place to lay your head and no frills, just the necessary amenities.

Very clean , well kept even thought is an old building, close to the metro , bus stops and main attractions.Wonderful breakfast, safe area, bed comfortable.Highly recommended.

Booked this hotel on a last min trip to Universal studios. The hotel is conveniently located 2 blocks from the red line metro making it super easy to use public transit and avoid paying $25/park at the theme park. Also, it offers free parking for guests, which is KEY in Hollywood. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was SUPER friendly, and gave lots of great tips for getting around and making the most of our stay. When we went up to our room the housekeeper had not finished yet and the front desk was very quick to give us another room, with a little upgrade! I was extremely pleased. The breakfast was provided by the restaurant two doors down and was a great buffet spread. Seriously, only good things to say about this place. The hotel itself appeared to be a converted apt building, rooms had a mini kitchen. Unlike a typical Hilton it did not have brand new plush facilities, but what the room offered was a comfy bed, good working and clean bathroom, and a good kitchen area with mini fridge. GREAT VALUE for the price. So glad Orbitz had it available to book.

It was more like an 1-bedroom apartment. Very decent and spacious. Clean. Parking is a big plus. The only minus was a terribly squeaky bed in one of the rooms. Besides that I recommend.

Ob arrival the toilet was Not clean, good location

Was very impressed, king size bed with nice, presentable arrangement like 4star hotel, had microwave, mini fridge, iron and tabletop iron board, mini coffee maker, hairdryer with toiletries i.e. new spare roll of toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soap/ clean towels, flat screen tv with cable channels of HBO 1 and 2 and Showtime 1 and 2...for this price I would definitely go back. This place is great for families on a budget who wants decent accommodations, clean place, clean towels, simple nothing fancy plus has free WiFi and free breakfast with coffee/sodas, choice toast, pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, sauteed veggies and potatoes ..would recommend though to add oatmeal packets and fresh fruit i.e.banana, Apple and oranges for those on diet restrictions...hotel has old building smell but not musty no cigarette smoke smell. As a seasoned traveler, my mini neutralizer/deodorizer I carry in my purse all the time resolved the old smell and eliminated it all throughout our stay...location is very convenient close to freeway access 1/2 mile to the east, quiet away from the noise of tourist trap at west side yet safe as we walked a block away to Farmer Boys fast-food place for late night meal which closes at 12mn. no problems, the best is this place has free parking at back..for a easter holiday weekend was very satisfied there were still lots of parking available when we arrive to place even at 0100 a.m... staff was very courteous...Barat is very pleasant gentleman..

Hotel was great. Nice location and close to Metro Station.

I loved the location, easy access to the red metro trains...two stops from Hollywood and 3 from Universal Studios. Also easy access to the space shuttle and the downtown Union Station. The hotel room was aged (many coats of paint) but still nice. The mattress seemed new, but was unbelievably firm. The room was very clean. The pool is unheated and while the water seemed "very clean", it was heavily shaded and had small leaves and flower petals (which did not bother us at all). The free parking is not crowded. The free breakfast was not so great. Having a fridge in the room was helpful, and there was a ton of table space in the room to set your gear. Would I stay there again? Yes. The location, parking, and price offset shortcomings in mattress and food.

this motel is okay for chill family, just go out to travel, and dnt mind about nice room. the motel is very close to everywhere and near by downtown and hollywood. they serve nice breakfast which is only thing i like. however, the parking is very limited and very small room for parking space.
