Room was musty, noisy and air conditioning was not working well.water pressure was poor

Everything tad fine. The room was cleaned and ready for us each day.

Thank you, was in walking distance to our event. Made it easy to get around. Was very convenient.

Very clean, room didn't smell, friendly staff. Old hotel but decent shape. Breakfast was basic but fresh with a clean eating area.

My room was clean and tidy and had been upgraded recently. Good value in Santa Monica with free parking, wifi and breakfast. The location is under 10 mins drive to the beachfront. There is a wine store next door and a liquor store across the road. There are restuaraunts within walking distance of the hotel.

Every thing about this hotel stay was terrible. From the carpet to the furniture was worn beyond needing replacement. I went for the patio view for my stay. The patio furniture was rusty and couldn't use the patio set. The room had a small TV mounted to the wall. The exercise room consist of one trend mill and stationary bike. Never again fool me once.

pretty good for what we needed................................................

It was much dirtier than I expected for the money. It didn't feel completely safe walking around at night. The rooms were ok but had that musty smell.

Hotel was clean....chandeliers were filthy though. Sauna was a 4. Left new bathing suit on door and was lied to about its whereabouts. Nota leisure hotel at all. Perfect for students not for luxury

The hotel was very nice as were all of the people working there. Parking is underground which is very handy. It is in a quiet neighborhood especially at night. There is a fun bar/restaurant across the street. It is a very short drive to the main attractions such as the beach, downtown with great pedestrian mall, restaurants and a lively atmosphere. The downtown has several garages that are free for a certain number of hours--big bonus! It's a quick drive to Venice Beach.

The location is excellent, the staff is very nice and the rooms are very clean. Great place to stay.

Nice if you like peeling wallpaper and mold all around bathtub caulk. Booked a king size bed and got a queen..in a room that looked like half the size of a stan dard..Also no replenishment of coffee after first day. Mentioned this to person at desk..his response was a smile as he said "have a nice day"..These people should be fired!!!!!!!!!!!!

Room was clean and comfortable. Good location but not really walking distance to the beach. Still, close enough for cab or bike. Reasonable rate for Santa Monica.

The Days Inn Santa Monica was perfect for a 24-hour family get away. We drove up from Solana Beach to watch the Sharks & Ducks battle it out. After the game went straight to Day Inn Santa Monica for a very late check in. This was the perfect crash pad for one night. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, location was perfect, service was good. Enjoyed a free continental breakfast in the hotel lobby, 4 mile run to the beach and back- late check out and off to our next adventure! We will be back! Thank you Days Inn Santa Monica.

Very friendly greeting. Staff very courteous and helpful. Room was clean but obviously weathered. Some kind of stain on ceiling and bathroom wall. Good price for Santa Monica and worth it if you are just looking for a simple, clean, place to sleep. Free parking was a plus.

You are right where you want to be or a 5 min cab ride from it but not paying through the roof. The place isn't fancy but it works if you need a warm bed, hot shower, and blah coffee in the AM.

Location was good compared to the prices of hotels that were closer. Only 2 miles from the beach, it only takes 5 minutes to get there. Staff and cleaning was very good. Can't say much about continental breakfast but there was a great restaurant , Coogles, across the street with great food at good prices. The only set back for me is the crazy smoking laws in that crazy state.

Clerks were slow and non gracious. Rooms were plain and smelled like bug spray. The bed was comfortable, and having a lousy room got us out of the hotel to see more of the sights. It was cheap. Personally I would look elsewhere.

I was visiting my daughter in Santa Monica. She has 2 year old twins whom I have not seen in almost a year so my visit was to focus on them. The hotel was within walking distance of my daughter's home which is a big plus but has nothing to do with the hotel itself. I found it comfortable with Internet access and well maintained. and fresh looking. The parking was ample for the guests and easily reached within the hotel basement. The free breakfast was a little skimpy but not severely so. There could have been a larger assortment of choices. All in all I think this hotel was worth the money and I would visit again without hesitation.

The hotel/motel does need some renovating. It seems that it's reached the end of the previous renovation cycle and a new one is called for. Although the rooms are clean, they are small (you get what you pay for i guess). It would have been great if they had a closet, but i guess an area with hangers (as the rooms had) suffices as well. The location is quite good. Though nothing is really walking distance, most everything is a few minutes drive. Sta. Monica pier is about 2 miles down. Venice beach is about 2.5 miles away. If they do undergo a renovation, then i would definitely stay here again!
