Very simple. They charge parking Not too happy about that

Great. And clean for this hotel very close to some great places to eat and dine in

breakfast is good, room is spaceous, computers are available

I booked this be Ng it was close to Universal studios. It was for my daughters birthday. Being it's February I recognized there would be no pool time so the option of the 'king suite' with a jacuzzi tub was appealing so my daughter could have a jacuzzi to 'swim in'. When I checked in the front desk stated they have not been working for a long time and they've told the discount companies this. So, was it Orbitz to blame or DaysInn? Needless to say, I was bummed knowing I just drove 6 hours to a place I didn't want but could not find another hotel as the Oscars were in town in two days. All hotels BOOKED! The tub could be easy to get over but for two of my three nights the tv/on demand did not work. So, no tv! Again, it would be no big deal however there was nowhere to go in the dirty streets around the hotel, so I was basically staying in the room. Then....... when I returned to my room after a day at universal, the lock box I used did not work anymore to retrieve my purse that was in there. Maintenance had to come and open it( bizzare it's that easy for them to come in and use a special tool to just OPEN the safe with my belongings) so, that down not work the rest of my visit. Nothing worked. Nothing was fixed and nothing was accomodated for!

This hotel is in a great location. Short walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Lots of eating and shopping. Hotel could use an update. Carpets are beyond dirty and room has a funny smell. But other than that it's a great place. They even offer a continental breakfast.

Staff so friendly very counfort close to evarywhere walking

Close to all things Hollywood. Parking garage below - a must for us. Free breakfast also nice. Only negative was the web site said there were laundry facilities. There are not. We were directed to a laundromat several blocks away. We did not go, but waited till we got to our next hotel.

Rooms are ok.building is old but nice.would stay there again

Friendly close to everywhere perfect for shoping buisines or just traveling

We needed a place near the hospital where my wife was having an operation the following day in order to avoid driving into LA and fighting morning traffic. We had stayed there once before some time ago, and the facility had not noticeably improved. Small room was overcrowded with furniture. However, location was great, and the bed was comfortable.

Hotel was ok for the price. Near Universal Studios (2.5 miles), walking distance to Ave of the Stars, Dolby Theater, Mann's Chinese Theater. Building is older, floors in hall are slanted, room was a little small but ok. Mattress was very worn, carpet was old, stretched in areas. Noise level from outside was not bad, but walls are very thin, could hear people in next room talking very clearly.

Comfortable hotel that was not far at all from Weho, Hollywood walk of fame and Universal Studio, all the places we planned to check out. Spacious and peaceful. I did have a bit of a bug problem but they fixed that and gave me new sheets. Apart from that it was a great stay.

Nice room for the price. Stayed for a week. Family of five in a double bed suite with sleeper sofa. I read through a lot of reviews before I decided on this hotel. I was a little worried when I saw the carpet in the hallway. Other than that I was pleased. Older pool but clean. Five minute walk to Hollywood Walk of Fame. Close to Griffith Observatory, La Brea Tar Pits and Beverly Hills. Drove to Disneyland in about forty five minutes. Caught subway to Universal, not even a ten minute ride. Continental breakfast and secure parking for ten bucks a night. Venice beach thirty minutes away. Everything is pretty close but LA traffic adds more travel time. Natural history museum a must do.

great location, good breakfast, reasonable price, pretty good deal

Checking in went smoothly. Very nice receptionist. Room was a little disappointing. It was very small. We had to walk sideways to get past each other. The bathroom sink was too small. Building was old and worn. Breakfast was sufficient. Room was clean and staff was helpful.

The front desk lady was amazing. We arrived really early and we were exhausted from our flight but she told us to give her 20 minutes and she would have our room ready. This is our second time staying here. This time the room was better then the first. Very clean and the bed and pillows were fantastic. We walked to Hollywood Blvd. Excellent location to everything. We will always stay at this hotel when we travel to Los Angeles.

Always the staff are so friendly mani year ago when im visiting ther rememberme warm people

Nice family room and staff. Elevator was small and experienced a mechanical problem during our stay. Staff returned parking fee for inconveniences. Location close to attractions.

Entrance acceptable for rating, room surprisingly clean and better than a 2 star rating, carpet in halls begged for overdue replacement, breakfast to the basics and less, price was comparatively a bargain for the location two blocks from the main spot in Hollywood, acceptable choice for a non-demanding someone attending a conference alone and busy all day looking for a clean place to sleep at the end of the day, I would not choose it if going with my wife on vacation looking for a good memory, some rooms had safety box broken (had to change my room for that, ask if you need that), walls not as private as I would have wanted because noise and conversations bled thru the walls, although that was expected from wood structure on an Inn, 2 blocks from subway, would return for the same conference objective mentioned above unless I find a better choice for a similar price.

very convienent. Overall satisfied for staying one night. Price is good
