Days Inn Airport Center LAX

2.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

There were cockroaches in the bath tub and on bed.

Where do I begin? 1) The windows rattled all night from the wind because they were loose and it was difficult to sleep. 2) There was a significant leak in the tub/shower. 3) I NEVER had any hot or even warm water during my entire stay, so taking a shower was not pleasant. 4) One of the two bath towels was dirty. Overall, other than the bed being comfortable and the TV working OK, the experience was very unsatisfying. Even the continental breakfast was extremely minimal. White bread for toast, a few mangy muffins and cereal/coffee is all that was offered. Overall.....a 1 out of 5 rating. Would never recommend!

We highly recommend this hotel the heater work room was very clean the beds were comfortable the bathrooms could use a little up Grade.Get there early for parking. Not a lot of spaces. Did not like the three joining doors that were leading to other rooms scary. The fridge was cool and clean and microwave did work excellent.Thank you very much nice ppl.

This property is farther away from LAX than most, yet charges similar rates. The wifi didn't work reliably--if we sat down with phone or tablet in hand, we'd lose the signal. The "breakfast" was meager and served in cramped quarters during a pre-dawn hour. The only saving grace was the bed was extremely comfortable and provided a great nights sleep after a trans-oceanic flight. All-in-all, there are better values out there.

Not a five star hotel, but good pricing, large rooms, good amenities, friendly staff overall.

Check in and out easy courteous staff. Great for overnight.

Our flight got cancelled due to the local weather problems and we needed to find a hotel as soon as possible since our next flight wasn't going to be next morning. I wasn't about to stay at LAX airport for a night with no shower, change of clothes and a nice bed after a long dreaded flight from HI to LAX. (That's another story unrelated to this.) Anyways, this hotel popped up with good reviews and pretty close to the Airport along with a shuttle. It was super convenient and didn't look to bad. Once we got there the staff was super friendly and empathetic to our situation and wanting to just relax after that ordeal at the airport. They got me checked in right away and told us local places to eat around here if we were hungry. Room was pretty nice for a quick stop. Only con for this place was its AC. The weather was really muggy and humid due to a tropical storm during that summer, and we wanted some relief from it, however the AC wasn't doing its job it took about 2hrs for it to actually cool the room. But other than that it was a great stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quick nice place to rest at.

Great trip services were phenomenal Can't wait to go back again everyone was helpful

Last night of week in so cal, w/ 3 kids and hus, just wanted inexpensive, clean hotel near sushi kura and rental car return, and got it. Good value, clean, and easy to get to lax next am.

The hairdryer did not work several light bulbs were out and tv was awful

Everything about the hotel was good no problems, I would've liked to have checked in at 1 o'clock rather than 3 PM as they have a policy of not checking in until then, I had just drove 6 hours and wanted to get some rest at 1pm but couldn't .

My family and I shared a room (5 people total) it was great that the desk host showed us our room and actually opened the extra room door for us to sleep comfortably...we were going to try and fit 3 adults on one bed....continental breakfast was ok room didn't smell like cigs and it was extremely close to the airport and rental car locations Easy directions and affordable.

I had a very nice rest.the rooms are very Cozi and comfortable. I also enjoyed the the restaurant out front.

First, we booked tthis hotel, since it shows that there is no parking fee and it's very convenient to catch the flight. The LAX airport is just right behind the hotel. (thats only one good thing I see from this hotel) Just next time, it would be more worth for real if it is other hotels.

we stayed for a week the bed was very comfortable they need to upgrade their TVs you really can't see what you're watching its very loud at night thats cause its in a Industrial area they could use a little more choice with the continental breakfast one night we came in late and could not find a parking spot so maybe more parking to accommodate every room all in all was alright

Overall average stay. If you need a place to sleep, then a good option. Famous Randy Donuts is one block away.

The staff were great, location is near the lax airport,

Days Inn always have what the traveler needs; and the Days Inn Venice Beachj\Airport t fit that bill; though the TV in this hotel wasn't very good, a bunch of channels didn't come in. The staff was very friendly.

I picked this hotel because it was affordable, close to the airport, and a decent chain. The hotel is in the seedy area of commercial and industrial buildings around the airport. The building is old and run down. Our room's TV only worked when the light switch was on. The comforters had cigarette burns. The sheets were stained. The towels were so old and worn they were see-through. The shower leaked nonstop. The housekeeper left her cigarettes and lighter in our nonsmoking room. The water heater was incredibly slow and took over 3 minutes to get us hot water in the afternoon... and then oscillated hot-cold-hot-cold. I will never stay here again and will doubt the cleanliness and value of other Day Inns. Don't waste your time or money here. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!
