What a disappointment experience staying with Custom Hotel!! The bed was the most uncomfortable to sleep on. It was placed right in the middle of the room. The beddings were dirty. Not worth staying here!!!

sooo dismayed that it's valet parking only, no designated parking area for guests

The room that I stayed in had stained sheets and pillow cases; the stains were yellow and resembled urine stains. The heater did not work and I was freezing all night. The shower head was broken and there was water squirting me in the face and top of my head while I was trying to shower. Also, the tub was clogged so I had to stand in a puddle of water while showering. One of the women that was working behind the desk was very rude, she did not smile and she gave me dirty looks. I do not remember what her name was. I was disappointed with my stay here.

The bathroom was dirty and the shower did not work properly. The Wifi was slow and spotty. On the other hand, the staff was friendly and the price was ok.

Rude staff, inaccurate charges to my account. Certain female staff members were staring at me and giving me dirty looks. When I spoke to the office manager about the inaccurate charges that had been taken from my bank account he called me a liar and said that he didn't believe me because he never heard of it happening before.

Smart option for early LAX departures. Shuttle is quick and free!

We stayed at this hotel with couple of my friends .. There was broken glass at the pool .. My friend tried to pick up something from the groun and ended up with glass in her knees .. It took them 30min to come clean the place and another 30 min to help her with a band aid , room is essay smaller than in the pictures .. There was no soup and not enough towels .. It was a terrible night !

Ample, nicely decorated, clean, nice views....quick check in.

Free shuttle to the hotel from the airport (call the hotel if you're coming in on an international flight so they circle around to pick you up). A number of places to eat near the hotel, including a grocery store! I had a professional, courteous, friendly, intelligent, knowledgeable person check me in, even though I had booked our reservation for the wrong night, she seamlessly set me up with another room. The rooms have some cosmetic flaws but they are really clean, modern, and everything you want when you're coming in our out of LAX. We had a lovely swim in the heated pool in the morning before our flight home. Be aware: the shuttle in the morning only runs about once an hour, so you have to make sure you look at the schedule. I will stay at Custom Hotel any time I am coming through LAX.

We really appreciated the Custom hotel for it's price, cleanliness, and style, but for us as tourists we found it a bit too far from Hollywood, universal studios, etc. in the Northeast of Los Angeles. We ended up some 40-50 miles away and spent over $200 on transportation over the course of three days. Part of the issue is LA's abysmal public transit system, which hardly goes anywhere to begin with and also isn't close enough to the hotel to be usable. Add traffic and if you're not at a hotel closer to the attractions it will take a couple of hours at least to travel there. On our worst day, we lost four hours just in one direction. Really great hotel, great staff, everything, but our distance really did make things difficult. That's why we wouldn't recommend the hotel if you're a tourist, even though there's nothing wrong with it.

Room was dirty. There were drapes around the whole room that weren't cleaned in years. Room made me cough.

Me pareció confortable la estadía a parte que por órbitz tuve una muy buena tarifa

Had problems with ac/heater in the room.maintenance staff was not available. Was a little uncomfortable because it was too cold. Otherwise great place. This was my second time staying there.

The pictures are a lie. This hotel was like a very cheap hotel for a Hilton price. If you need a hotel and its a cheap price and you dont care what you get then this hotel is for you but if you enjoy staying somewhere nice then dont book herr.

Unfortunately, there is NO ONSITE PARKING, so unless you want to risk parking your car on the busy highway/street and hike it after a long trip or day in the city, you will be forced to use valet, for which they charge $35 + tax a night. Some rooms are not as nice as others and the curve is steep. If you want a boutique experience without the boutique price or service, go here.

Picture and hotel room looks nothing alike. It would be great if I can get my money back to be honest.

if i tell the truth orbitz won't print the review. this hotel is basically a crack house- i looked and left. i paid and took the loss because i knew i would not get refund. total crack house -shame on orbitz for including this in its "properties"i left and slept in my car instead.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver to the airport was most helpful. When I arrived at the airport at 5:45 AM I found out my plane was delayed 3 hours. I called the hotel and asked if the shuttle driver could come back to pick me up and he did. They would not scheduled to come back to the airport for 30 minutes but came back and picked me up quick in the cold rain so I could get a few more hours of sleep. I appreciate the extra efforts the entire staff made.

First room was really noisy and TV didnt work. I was given another room, but two people tried to get into my room after I was in the second room. It was an honest mistake but the hotel staff seemed a little new.

Rooms were definitely on the small side, bed was very uncomfortable-basically a futon mattress & it was a little loud so close to the airport. The staff was very friendly and helpful though.
