Friendly staff, great breakfast, spacious and clean rooms!

Very nice place even though construction was going on. Good location ad helpful staff and close to stores and restaurants

Very clean, quality place in an affordable part of town. Not far from the touristy area of town.

I decided to stay at this location because I needed to be close to Cal State Long Beach but I knew some thing was up when I walked into the Lobby and there was no floor. The Lobby was undergoing renovations. the Desk Lady was very nice. I asked if my room was ready and was told to come back in 15 minuets. when I got there, one housekeeper was out side my room, I asked her if I could go in and she told me to wait. When I was finally able to get in the room, one of the comforters was dirty! There were some sort of dirt smudges on the ceiling, but the room smelled clean and the bathroom was updated and clean. The Television was updated but trying to find something to watch without a local channel selection card or equivalent was very frustrating. A short time later I heard a Police helicopter circling around the hotel so low that I could see faces of the pilots. The parking was not secure at all. The gated entry closest to my hotel room was chained up at 6:00p.m. and wasn't available still at 7:00a.m. when I had to check out for business. So lugging my stuff very far out of my way was irritating. The free breakfast bar was lacking. the yogurt was not very cold and the pastries were uneventful. Check out was hassle free! Bonus! Needless to say, I would not recommend this establishment. For the price I paid, I did expect more. I am very unsatisfied !!!

Good Hotel. Nice breakfast. Misleading to say hotel is near convention center.

Attended International Forensics Conference The hotel facilities were excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, and the location ideal

Very convenient location. Just 2.5 miles from the Convention Center. This Comfort Inn is just a short walk to the Long Beach above ground subway that runs down Long Beach Blvd in a north-south direction The continental breakfast was served on time 6am-10am, and featured fresh pastries, apples, coffee and a do it yourself waffle iron (don't forget to use the non-stick spray, or you'll be scraping your waffle off the griddle in pieces) The wi-fi connection was very efficient and fast. The only shortcoming I noticed was the Fitness room...the equipment was in good operating condition, but like most fitness centers that are installed in what was once a room...the AC and ventilation is not that good...and got really hot during my session. The grounds were nice and well maintained, and best of all, this hotel was very quiet...overall a great place to stay.

The good: This hotel is reasonably priced The rooms are spacious Its fairly close the Long Beach Convention Center OK for overnight trips The bad: Rooms near the street pick up every noise and there was a light coming into my room from the nearby strip mall The Ugly: The room was not as clean as I would like. I didn't see any dirt, but I have allergies and could smell the dust, but I couldn't open the window because of the temperature and the noise. It was a long night.

Great deal for the money. Nice rooms with balcony facing the pool. Clean. Free Continental breakfast. I would definitely come back to this place

We stayed here for a graduation ceremony the next day. Our room wasn't ready when we checked in but it was quickly taken care of. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Internet connection is very good. This hotel is just the right place for rest after a long day of work.

perfectly fine, if you're on a very tight budget; spacious rooms, free wifi, friendly staff

It wasn't a bad place to stay at. Pretty comfortable... not too loud... pretty quiet. The bed was not the most comfortable bed to me since I like softer beds, but overall this was a good experience.

We enjoyed the bed the most, truly soft and spacious compared to others.you'll get a wonderful nights sleep. We ate at Home twn buffet dwntwn, only a few blocks away and we had the opportunity to visit the Long Beach Aquarium-nice place also. The area of the hotel has many fast food places but the negative side is distance to a upscale sitdown place.Overall we would pick this hotel again.

The Comfort Inn Long Beach (on Willow Ave.) was a comfortable place to stay and the room was much larger than I had expected. Having a small refridgerator and microwave in the room came in especially handy due to the fact there were absolutely no restaurants that I could find anywhere along Willow Ave. (I drove several miles in both directions). For those who live off of fast food this would be a perfect location for them however, I do not and I was very disappointed. The actual location of this motel was in the poorest and most crime ridden section of Long Beach in which all buildings had iron bars on the windows and doors. I did feel like I was staying at Fort Knox which was both good and bad. In order to access the motel I had to have my room card (key) with me at all times to open the iron doors leading to the parking lot which was also surrounded by a five foot iron fence completely around the entire parking lot. My second night was spent waking to screaming sirens ALL night long. I was rather surprised because the night before was completely quiet. I have another employee going down to the same work location for another week next month and I advised her NOT to make arrangements at this motel as she will be alone and the neighborhood is in no way a safe place to venture out into during the day let alone at night. Overall;Motel=good Location=extremely poor.

If you need to be near Long Beach airport or CSULB this is a great place to be. For the price the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The downside is the location. Its not in that nice of an area and as a result food options nearby are limited to fast food or the supermarket.
