Expect to see (or hear) wildlife such as coyotes, owls, bobcats, and occasionally even mountain lions or bears. Insects and bugs are also part of the canyon lifestyle. For safety, pets should be kept indoors or supervised at all times.

The property is dark at night except for lights on the deck and front entry — bring a flashlight if arriving after dark.
