It was good value if you can cut corners on location. The homeless were not bothersome at all just a few blocks away, or the hookah lounge across the street. The 7-eleven across the street had very healthy choices for food and travel supplies galore. I had trouble getting adequate instructions for the airport shuttle which resulted in a 1 hr 15 min setback upon arrival. The rooftop little pool was a nice feature. Fitness room had maybe 4 pieces of equipment and opens 5:30 am thankfully so you can get what you need if you go early. Friendly staff but front desk did not have clear instructions for catching the airport shuttle---e.g., which level to wait at, or which zone at the gate to wait at, or that one shuttle runs for 3 Best Westerns so you have to wait a lot longer than other hotel shuttles coming every 5-10 min. I tried to call for pick up when plane landed since I had no baggage and was in a hurry, but they would not dispatch a driver until I was calling from outside the gate on sidewalk in traffic, and then I had to miss the shuttle twice because they didn't tell me that where I was, where every other hotel was picking up guests, was not where they pick up guests. I also did not like that the stairwell was locked when the elevator was out of order the day before, but an employee opened it for me because I did not want to risk the elevator when I was tight on time. So if you do not mind some slight inconveniences, it is worth the savings to stay here.
