Solid 3 for its price in downtown LA Free parking & coffee You are right in the middle of everything & close to convention center

Fine overall, but sink was plugged up. Staff was good.

The guy at check in was very friendly, humorous even. Pretty comfortable on the inside.

The hotel is somewhat underwhelming for its prime location and convenience to many venues, including Staples Center. The hotel is in dire need of a major renovation if not a complete rebuild. It's near the Financial District of downtown LA, near a major hospital, film and television studio, and many new residential apartments and condos. I have to say in all fairness, the rooms and bedding were clean, the bathroom toilet and shower were clean, towels fresh each day if not a bit thread worn, and relatively quiet. It took me a day or so to learn the AC controls so that I wasn't constantly blasted with cold air or none at all. As a guy in transition between living in SD and working in LA during the week, it met my needs of having a place to go lay my head down at the end of the day to sleep. If you want the LA experience and all the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, that can be found at any hotel across US 110 for more than twice the nightly rate.

Hotel staff was very helpful. The room was clean. Great stay!

For the price i paid for it, this is okay. the location is very good. if you don't have a car, there is a bus stop just a few steps from the hotel entrance. I would say its clean. better than the hotel beside them which is gross. floor, sheets and bathroom is i would say clean. not that its squeaky clean but its ok. for the staff, i didn't have much interaction with the front desk except with I checked in. He's friendly. However, I got concerned about the security. Checked in about 5 in the afternoon. My husband and I were chilling out in the room early evening then the phone rang. it stopped ringing right before I picked it up. few minutes later, someone knocked at the door. checked who it was and good thing it's our friend. my husband was so mad because why would they just give out room numbers of their guests. what if we don't know the person and they just gave our room number and I am alone in the room. they should've waited for us to pick up the phone and ask permission if they could send someone to our room. I hope that they don't just give the room number to people and send them to the rooms of their guests for security and privacy reasons.

Swimming pool Great location in downtown LA that easy to access to public transportation Shops and mall close by

The room was clean, quiet and the bed was decent. Breakfast was not served until 7:00 am and my meetings started at 6:30 am. There are no cafes or restaurants in the area. The staff was not able to provide directions to a fairly well known site in LA. The night shift front desk person did not respond to the buzzer for at least 10 minutes. I left before anyone responded and there was another guest waiting to pick up their deposit. The only reason I would not stay at this hotel again is the distance from the hotel to the meeting site.

Great location but outdated. The plus is they have direct tv and a pool. Staff was helpful with whatever questions we had.

This location is great. Theirs shopping restaurants within walking distance. Parking is free but you have to get there early ( not a lot of spaces available ).

Was fun with friends partied one night and hotel Came in handy and did the job well for us

I stayed at this hotel due to it being within walking distance of where my business meeting was being held. To call this motel a "rat hole" is being generous. I'm sure any rat would have refused to stay here. The first thing I noticed was that the walls were smeared with several crushed dead bugs that had been killed by a prior guest. The second thing I noticed was there was not any type of clock in the room. No alarm clock at all. The third thing was that when I walked outside there were 2 LAPD officers coming out of the motel office. I asked the manager if everything was OK and she replied "sure, nothing to worry about." Then I saw a sign outside the office saying that "this motel is under 24 hour video surveillance. Any illegal activity will be reported to the LAPD." I ended up sleeping with the bedroom light on after hearing suspicious noises all night from 2 doors down. Cars were pulling up in front of my room and the horns beeped out a "beep, beep-beep" pattern all night. After the "beep, beep-beep" I heard footsteps going up the stairs and returning within 1-2 minutes back to their car. Stay away...stay far away from this motel.

The hotel was perfect for me. It was so close to the Convention Center and to many tourists attractions. Room were clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

Staff are rude, didn't even answer the questions that I addressed. Parking is always tight.

Well I booked it was supposed to be a double bed room for $89 but I got 1 queen bed but the reason I booked here is because I thought I was getting a double bed room so it really inconvenienced me because my 5year and 2year old had to sleep in the bed with my husband and I. Due to this I woke up sore as heck from not being able to move all night from fear I would roll of the bed since all 4 of us were in it! Only plus' are they did have a mini fridge and microwave and an iron, and the location is great they have a target, starbucks, California pizza kitchen, many pubs and bistros on 7th st and it's a right by the metro train station so easy acess to public transportation if needed. I might rent here again if I need a place to stay for the night after a game or party but other than that I was jipped of my money cuz I didn't get what I paid for!

Worst service ever, infested with roaches and bedbugs. Did not stayed at this place. I asked for a refund and a had to make phone calls to the hotel during my vacation and they would not help me out right away. I even had to go inspect the room and show the hotel manager where I found the bedbugs because they would not believe me.

The staff was very friendly upon checking in, but efficient. However, when we checked out, the gentleman was very friendly. We liked the bathroom and hardwood floors. The A/C worked well, but wasn't on when we arrived, so the room felt like a sauna for a bit. The breakfast looked good, but we didn't have time to stay and eat it. Overall, for our less than 12 hour stay, it was worth the money.

It's good for the price and location. Like the fridge and microwave

Was good for what we paid. Free parking and within walking distance to staples center so it was perfect for what we needed.

Great bargain and affordable price...great location
