Very good place and call for double thank you very much

Stayed here while my husband had dental care (like everyone else). The hotel and rooms are very clean. There is a swimming pool with lots of shade available. It's about four blocks to walk into town. We were there six nights and never had any maid service. We asked for clean towels once and my husband found a linen closet so we helped ourselves. The restaurant served pretty good food and had lots of soft items for folks with sore mouths. There is an outside dining area with a bar although no alcoholic beverages are served. (Go to the purple pharmacy/liquor store and stock up). Staff were very friendly and helpful. Be warned if you go into town in the evenings there is almost nothing open - you really have to look to find a place to eat. Fortunately the hotel serves dinner and the kitchen is open late. We would definitely recommend this place and plan to return for follow up appointments.

No bedside lamps, raggedy towels, stained sheets. Unfriendly staff it felt as if they thought they were doing me a favor especially front desk. In spite of the outdoor bar area in picture no alcohol is served. Very few staff speak English. "Cable TV" is worthless very few channels. Food in restaurant is below average quality. People stay there just to get their dental work done and hotel is fully booked. Stay on the Yuma side of the border!

Charming hotel, keep in mind buildings in Mexico are very old and when remodeling electricity was an after thought. Having said that, There was no electrical outlet in the bathroom, so blow drying hair and such had to be done in the room. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable and A/C worked great. TV had three English channels, but there was a very nice courtyard to hang in, but for unknown reasons the bar was not open. Restaurant had good food, but limited menu. The hotel was within walking distance to dentist and shops, but town shuts down at 5PM so get shopping and dining done early. We were there in summer so there were very few people from the US, and I would assume in the peak season rooms would be hard to get. Overall if you are a fan of old school living and charm and history, this would be a very good choice. Also this hotel caters to people getting dentistry work done at the Sani dental group as far as the shuttle goes.

Hi there, Thank you for writing us your review and sharing your experience. About the room service, it is always available but only if requested in front desk. The reason is, most guests who stay in our hotel come for dental or medical work, so they prefer not to be bothered by room service while they recover from surgery. That is why we offer this service only by request. Hope to see you again in Los Algodones!
