This property has friendly and helpful staff, plentiful well-lighted parking, and a location right off of the interstate for easy on/off. Also, the price per night is fantastic! Cons: it's shabby and a little worn down. The walls and doors in my room were grimy, the remote control was sticky (!), and the toilet ran on and off. I've stayed at this location several times over the years and will probably continue to do so, since I know where it is, and the staff are so nice.
Room was dirty, booked 3 nights stayed one and hotel didn’t offer refund for the other 2 nights, breteen or it’s and la Quinta they kept throwing the ball at each other..!! Total BS
The front desk employees were very friendly and professional. The location is conveniently located just off I-20, but far enough away that it's quiet. There's ample parking and the lot is very well-lighted at night, so I felt safe and that my car was safe. I would stay here again.
I advised this room be canceled and I still was charged for it
Short staffed. Had to wait at reception counter for several minutes before someone showed up. Would have liked scrambled eggs as a hot breakfast dish. They only had biscuits, gravy and sausage. Facility and surrounding grounds were nice and well maintained.
Generally good impression but limited staff brought overall rating down.

The property was conveniently located and offered many amenities. The staff were super nice. My only complaint was that the room I had smelled slightly of cigarette smoke. I don't know if it was from previous people or the cleaning staff.
Elevator not in service. Two in our group have mobility issues and climbing the stairs was challenging.
This was so nice! we had fled from an awful hotel near Shreveport and drove an hour to get her, the check in was lovely and the concierge made sure we got a good room with keys that worked, It was very well maintained and clean. The front desk person was very helpful and really looked out for us in a great way. It was so CLEAN!!!! and that is what we needed. Several different employees inquired (sincerely) about our stay to make sure we were comfortable. The sincerity is what really mattered to me!

We were traveling and decided to stop for the evening. We looked on line as we were driving and found the La Quinta Inn and Suites looked good and priced just right. When you walk in you can see how clean and how well maintained the property was. Adam checked us in and he was very polite and dressed nice. I mentioned getting food and he gave us a nice color map of the city. It had restaurants and locations.The room was immaculate and very clean.The king size bed was great and we slept well as it was nice and quiet.The free breakfast was very good and the breakfast area well maintained. Adam checked us out the next morning with best wishes and friendly smile. years ago we had a bad experience with La Quinta and decided to give them another try and it was worth it.Thank you La Quinta. We stay at many very nice motels so this was a wonderful experience.
We had to check in late, but we were welcomed with a smile and very efficient service. The room was clean and comfortable.
When we checking in, the room seemed to have an odd odor and the fact that there was an Airwick heated unit plugged into an outlet should have been a clue. We checked in, spent about 10 minutes there and left to visit family. My wife noticed that her hair smelled like the room while we were out. We could not tell if the odor was a mold or a smoke smell. When we arrived at our relatives house her sister asked what the smell was, so it was noticed by others also. When we arrived back at the hotel at around midnight we asked if we could change rooms. Although they did not have another King suite, we opted to accept a two-bed queen room. The room was better. Bottom line all our clothes (we had unpacked them into the dresser) had the bad smell and it lasted until we returned home almost a week later and thoroughly washed every thing that we had taken with us including coats, underwear, everything.
