Wife and I stayed here during our first trip to London. Best hotel service we have ever had and will be back again! Short walk/uber to anywhere in London.

Hotel is conveniently located to Paddington Station and restaurants. Staff was quite welcoming. Room was cramped, not well heated, and very creaky. Hotel provided a cot (American meaning) rather than the the crib (British cot) requested.

One of few hotels in the Paddington area with a king size bed. 5 minute walk to Paddington train station. Clean, comfortable bed, friendly staff and great location. Only gripe is that shower tub does not have a full glass wall to keep water inside tub only a half of a wall. Overall a great choice while staying in London.

This is our second stay at the Royal Park and we love it so! It's cozy and comfortable and the staff is amazing!! Close to Paddington station and the tube makes sightseeing easy breezy!

Nice Hotel with charm. The WIfi didn´t worked at all. The rooms are nice, but already a bit worn. I would stay the again.

This hotel is truly charming. The rooms are small, but very comfortable, the staff is very attentive. It's close to two tube stations just off Hyde Park in a lovely neighborhood. The only drawback is we could never get WiFi to work. They said it was free, but we had no luck with laptops or smartphones. The desk couldn't help.

Overall the Royal Park Hotel was a great place to stay. There were some minor issue such as the A/C not working to well. I have heard this is common with many UK hotels. It wasn’t too much of an issue for this time of year as the outside temp was in the low 60’s. As with most European hotels the room was small but comfortable. If you have the option, book with breakfast included. Breakfast for two people can exceed $50 US for what would normally be $18 in the US. The hotel is close to two subways and a train station which will help you to navigate all over London and the UK. I would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff are awesome. The room was extra small even in European standard, that is why it was not comfortable

Very pleased with our stay at Royal Park. The staff was awesome and very helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. Ronnie the concierge was extremely helpful in getting us around London. Located just 5 minutes from Paddington station and Hyde Park with easy access to bus stops and all tourist attractions via hop on hop off buses. The Wi-Fi was sub par at best. I would definitely stay at Royal Park again.

Read the title. It explains it all. The only thing that was great was the location (close to Hyde Park and Paddington Station) and the staff.

An easy walk from Paddington, and to Hyde park. Hotel is in a nice quiet neighborhood, rooms are nice sized, good linnens, great bath fixtures, excellent think, heavy black out drapes. Nice but very small common and eating areas. Attentive staff. My only suggestion is electric kettle is needed in the rooms otherwise a perfect stay and a place I will be back to for sure.

The check in clerk was very friendly and gave us a free upgrade to a better room on the 4th floor. It was clean and nice but very hot. Thankfully the small window opened but it didn't have a screen. This would be a problem during the day/spring because birds/squirrels could come in. The bathroom was nice but awkwardly laid out. The shower/bath combo could be a problem if you have mobility problems because the tub was very deep. The free wifi worked like a charm and was good for 3 days even though we were only stayed 1 night. The area is safe and there are lots of restaurants closeby. We had to check out at 5:30am and the clerk offered to schedule a cab for us. The next morning I was suprised it wasn't a standard black cab but figured the clerk knew what he was doing. WRONG! We were GOUGED for 28 pounds for a 1 mile ride to Kings Cross Station. It should have been around 13 pounds. The driver said "sorry, but you could have checked the rates at the hotel". So basically the hotel is aware of the outrageous rates and continues to do business with them! Whatever you do, don't let them call you a cab! The bottom line is the room was nice and it's located very close to Hyde Park, but I won't be staying here again because it was overpriced for the area and the cab debacle left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Loved the hotel and the wonderful staff. King Size bed in London is hard to find. Very close to the Tub and Trains.

I was looking for a hotel near Paddington station as once I arrived from USA in early morning I needed to take train to Cardiff. Staff was able to provide me my room early so I was able to freshen up after overnight flight before I caught train to Cardiff. Very comfortable room and very close to Paddington station for easy train or tube access.

We had a great time using the Royal Park as a base for seeing London. It is located close to Paddington station and several tube and bus lines. The hotel was very nice and the staff helpful and friendly.

My recent stay at the Royal Park Hotel in London was first-rate in every way. Convenient, friendly staff, beautiful property! Highly recommended!

Very helpful staff with good service without being to pushy. I recommend the peppermint tea!

Very cozy and English. Nice staff and romantic rooms. Feels like coming to someones private house. In a good way!

Beautiful old school hotel, charm, charm, charm! Very nice staff. Perfect location. We had three picture perfect nights there. Only downside: young staff did not provide very good restaurant recommendations (exception of fantastic nearby Indian restaurant!). One young woman was at a complete loss as to what/where to recommend, much less make a reservation for us Minor flaw. Still fantastic experience and we hope to return.

Walking distance from tube, bus and train stations. Centrally located for travel within central London and out-of-town journeys. Many inexpensive coffee shops & restaurants nearby. Free Wi-Fi in-room and in the lobby. Complete bathroom amenities.
