The service is second to none! Everyone from the bell boy to the manager are charming friendly and engaging! We would not consider staying anywhere else partly because of this. It is so rare to get such personal charming service. Secondly the attention to detail is incredible! Many many small touches which make staying here such a relaxed pleasure. The breakfasts have improved significantly recently too...huge range of choice with delicious good quality fresh fruit and excellent espresso. Working in hospitality as we do and running an award winning establishment at Millgate House we feel well placed to assess things... this hotel is top notch! 10/10 again!

This hotel lets the Montcalm name down. It charges the same prices per night as the excellent hotels in Shoreditch and Chiswell street. On my first stay I had a basement room which was right next to the entrance the staff use and where they have their smoking breaks. It was noisy and horrible. This time they put me on the top floor in a tiny room with no windows and a strange scent. Also the safe had been removed from the room. I complained and was told they couldn't move me. Would never stay here again

I stayed at the Marble Arch for a few nights during my trip to London. I wasnt happy with the first room i was allocated but when i mentioned it to the staff they were kind enough to move me to another room. I was really happy with the 2nd room. The staff and the manager Adella are very warm, friendly and helpful. I chose to stay at the Marble Arch due to the location and the access to gym and I wasnt disappointed. The gym was just across the road and it was great. Location is very central and all in all it was a great experience. thank you Adella and team. Look forward to my next trip best Meena

I stayed in the hotel for 10 days and I really liked the clean room Very friendly and helpful staff Perfect location near to the Hyde park GOOD VALUE OF MONEY COMPARED WITH OTHER HOTELS AROUND Easy to find by Uber or taxi

Location is excellent just facing the Marble Arch so you are just few steps from Oxford street and Edgware Road . My husband and I stayed there for two nights on our way to Hull for a medical conference . Our room was clean and comfy . The breakfast was good .The staff at the reception were very polite and friendly . Actually we had a wonderful stay in London . I would love to stay at this hotel on my next visit to London .

Location is Ok but when we stay at that Hotel on June 28-01 Juli, our things is GONE after the houskeeping cleaned up the room, we have 3 Rooms at the time.. we lost Mukena for Sholat, T-shirt at laundrt bag, Big Body lotion, when we complain to front desk , they never follow up our complained!! Until we check out they said nothing! Even to say sorry

I dithered between rating this 3 or 4 but decided to go with a 4. I was very excited when I booked this, thinking I had got a great deal at the Montcalm Marble Arch, this is instead it's boutique sister hotel just across the road, and not so luxurious! I do agree that some of the reviews for this hotel are probably meant for the one across the road. This is a great central London location, just minutes from Marble Arch tube. The reception area and rooms are nicely decorated and modern, but the rooms are small to say the least, an extra 1m all round was needed! 2 people could not walk round at the same time! The walls were paper thin too, you can hear every word of conversations in the room next door. On checking in the air conditioning was not working in our room, maintenance came quickly and resolved this with a new filter. Fresh fruit and a bottle of (room temperature) mineral water were nice touches. The mini bar fridge did not work so nothing in there was chilled, the tea bags in the room were amazing but the coffee was sachets of Nescafé! Tea bags were not replenished after the first day, and asking housekeeping to bring them when I first woke the next day was not high on my list of things to do. No bathrobes in the room, although there should have been, and the much anticipated aroma box was nowhere to be seen. Friendly staff. A good hotel, not a luxurious one, great location - nowhere is far away!

Stayed one night the room was so small fixtures and fittings great but would have preferred more space and the walls were paper thin the person in the next room took a phone call and we could hear every word. Not good for the price

I booked a two night stay at this hotel via in May, my booking was confirmed and paid for and I was looking forward to staying here as part of my wedding anniversary celebrations this weekend. However on Tuesday, four days before we were due to check in, I was informed that my booking had been denied by the hotel because the rates were too low. I booked almost two months ago and they wait until four days before to tell me! Really disappointing and certainly not what I'd except from a 5* establishment. Instead of being excited and looking forward to the weekend ahead, the last couple of days have been stressful and time consuming as we've had to find an alternative hotel. If this is the kind of service that Montcalm are providing then I would advise customers to reconsider about booking this hotel.

After buying a friend a virgin experience spa day we arrived at the montcalm hotel which is beautiful! The receptionist was helpful and staff on the door were really friendly although when we got to the restaraunt for our lunch we were asked for the voucher they simply said 'give it to me' and then took our bags no please, no thankyou we were shocked the lady that served us was more polite, spa staff were much better they were friendly and helpful and showed us around we had the whole spa to ourselves and it was lovely! Just a shame the treatments are so expensive.
