My other half booked a surprise get away to London and booked this hotel. I hadn’t seen any reviews as I didn’t know where we were going so was completely open minded. The location is wonderful and quiet and felt completely safe at all times. The staff were superb and helpful. Leaving your luggage wasn’t an issue either. Checkin was easy. Found some lovely restaurants and cafes nearby and so close to the museums. Lots of places walkable to. The room was immaculate and super clean and the bed super comfy. If you are only staying 2 or 3 nights or are out all the time it’s perfect. A longer stay may be challenging as the room was tiny and having to climb over your other half if you got the wall side of the bed was amusing in the short term. As London was 33 degrees the room was really hot but we did have two fans. I think trip advisor need a good star rating as this was above average but not very good. I would stay again in cooler weather. Great value especially for the location.

On the upside... Great location, good free wifi, feels safe, clean room, comfy bed and lovely chap on reception. On the downside... very compact and slightly odd room. At first the room looked quite smart but everything is a bit cheap and doesnt quite work ie no plug for kettle other than on a ledge, no bedside light or switch and TV only had a few channels (had to watch BBC on iplayer). A fair price in London for this would be £100 to £120 per night.

We stayed here after meeting friends for dinner in Kensington. It is in an ideal spot it was very well priced and clean. Overall it would have been fine for a nights stay, however it was just far too hot so much so we left at 8 am to go home as we just couldn’t get comfortable. So it’s got many good points but I won’t be staying again

This is a great example of getting what you pay for. We got this room fairly cheap and were impressed by the pictures. The room had a very modern feel with a lovely but small bathroom. Overall the room was quite small however since we were quite busy whilst we were in London this wasn’t too much of a bother. Great little base for exploring London with only a 10 ish minute walk to the nearest underground station. Nice and quiet on the 4th floor, however lack of a lift left us a bit out of breath after carrying our suitcases. We were left regretting turning down the offer of help with our bags. Great area with plenty to do and feels very posh with plenty of Aston Martins and Porsche’s lining the streets. We were very impressed with the comfy bed and modern smart TV great for watching Netflix, iPlayer etc..

I’m so glad I read other reviews. I packed a fan - it made the stay bearable. We were in a room on the ground floor at the back. The window only opened slightly - great for security but not to get much air into the room. Very clean and comfy bed. Couple more tea bags would have been nice. Could hear steps from room above but heard worse. The fan drowned out sound from lobby area - which was only brief when people came and went. This was fine for one night.

Stayed at the Dome for 2 nights whilst we visited London and attended a concert. Excellent accommodation, we had a studio apartment, with mini kitchen which was well planned. The room was clean and comfortable, and bed huge which made for a very nice nights sleep. Bathroom was clean and fresh with fluffy towels and a small range of toiletries. We were on the 4th Floor, although no lift the view was wonderful. Staff were very pleasant when we arrived, asked if we needed help with our bag, which we didn't, apologized there was no lift, but advised the room was worth the stairs, which I have to agree was correct. Explained how to enter via a key code when reception was closed, which again was very easy, unsure why previous traveler had a problem. The Dome is right off the Fulham Road and Sloan Square in a very nice area, with lots of restaurants and bars close by. I have to say for the area it was in I felt the price we paid for 2 nights was very reasonable. I would definitely stay again.

Chose The Dome as convenient for a hospital appointment. Booked via Booking.com a standard double room for 1 night at the last moment. On arrival, we were allocated room 4.3 on the 4th floor.Be warned, this place does not have a lift. Got to the room which looked like a very small single room yet alone the purported double. Nothing else available apparently as fully booked. The bed was squeezed in between the window one end and "cupboard" the other, up tight against the side wall. Maybe OK for 1 person not for two as you have to climb over the other person to get out of bed. No bedside table or reading light. Ridiculously small shower/toilet area, tiny basin with a huge tap which made it virtually impossible to wash your face. Shower was tiny with no water pressure- a dribble. The only table was a fold down affair with just enough room for a kettle and cups. The only positives were that the room was quiet and clean, otherwise forget it. Pictures on the web site very misleading. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Me and my boyfriend stayed for 1 night in a standard room. We knew it was going to be small from photos, however it was absolutely fine and had everything we needed. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, with nice shower and toiletries. For the price you pay you cant go wrong. The hotel is just off Sloane Square, minutes walk from Kings Road so cant be beaten on location. Its a lovely, high end neighborhood. My only complaint would be that the room was very warm during the night due to no air con facilities, however the windows are big enough that can can slide them right up to cool down. Overall great value for money.

Chose to stay here as close for visiting Chelsea flower show. No lift & had to climb far too many stairs to the fourth floor. Room small & bathroom even smaller. The room was very hot, no air con & window only opened slightly. Facilities in room basic but bed linen & towels were great. Quiet location at night but failed to sleep well due to heat in room. There is also no option for breakfast.

I was given a room underground with the direct view of a gutter. The room was half the size as what is said it would be, and they got away with it through a technicality -- they added extra space in the bathroom. It was horrible. Upon asking for a refund as the property was UNLIVABLE, the manager refused. When I booked the property, I requested a late check out- 6pm. This they agreed to and I received email confirmation as proof. I was then harassed on the day I was to check out and was forced to leave my plans on my anniversary with my partner to drop off the key 3 hours earlier than they said -3pm. They were extremely rude about the whole process and said "Tessa, this is the final word" and that "I would be charged for an extra night" if I stayed past their new checkout time. Please keep in mind that they only told me my new check-out time 3 hours before the deadline and was already in Kingston [1.5h] away when I got told. Disgusting service. Frankly appauled by how they breached their contract they made with me. Threatening to charge me if I didn't make it by the cut-off when I had to travel so far was ridiculous. Absolutely furious. The manager didn't even issue an apology or even attempt to call me and talk to me. DO NOT go to this hotel.
