Very very nice. Small beutiful boutique, good breakfast, many ametiests in the room, love it!

When we arrived we were welcomed and told our room wasn’t ready but we could leave our luggage there and come back. I wish at that point they would have told us the air conditioner was not working on the floor of the room they had given us. I had asked for a higher floor and we were given the basement. Room was small but lovely but without air conditioning it was a sauna. Tried to take a shower but the door doesn’t have a seal and water flooded the bathroom floor. They brought in a portable air unit but it was basically a fan that just moved around the hot air and was noisy. We were moved to a room on the 2nd floor the next day and it was exceptional. The management gave us a free meal and drinks as compensation which was an amazing experience. The food was delicious and the staff super friendly. The chef was exceptional! I would have rated the hotel 5 stars if not for the shower that flooded the bath and lack of air conditioning. It was a lot of hassle the first night but a dream the rest if the stay.

Our stay at the St James Hotel and Club was fantastic! The location of the hotel is great - it's very close by to a tube station, a park, tons of restaurants, and within 10 minute walking distance of Piccadilly Circus. The staff at the hotel were incredible. They were extremely kind and welcoming and were able to answer every question we had. Our room was extremely comfortable and felt very luxurious. I would return to this hotel in a heartbeat!

The staff is gracious and accommodating. They had run out of adapters for the wall sockets but showed us a work-around. Excellent room service.

Overall very good. I wish the room were larger and with a window.

Similar to Dukes and Staffird. Staff more friendly than Dukes. Better value than both

Everything about this hotel was top notch...staff, drinks, dining, location, decor... only negative was that the air conditoner didn't work. Had to open the windows & drapes at bedtime, so when the sun came up at 5am, it was shining right in our eyes. Other than that, was great.

Great location on quiet side street. Friendly and helpful staff.

Staff is very attentive and sincerely wants to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Rooms are all updated but still retain a very comfortable English club feel. Location is on a quiet street. Most of the main London sights are easily within walking distance. Charming, comfortable, quiet, updated, perfect location, great staff-what more can you ask for ?

Was a cute hotel. A bit more high end than I expected but that's ok. Restaurant food was not really my style so we didn't go. Room was very cute.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff is extremely professional and helpful. Perfect location in the center of London. Next to Green Park and walking distance to many sites, including Buckingham Palace. Easy access to the Green Park Station of the London Tube, from which you have quick access to all of London, often without even transferring lines. Breakfast each morning was delicious in a beautiful small dining room. We will definitely stay here the next time we're in London.

Fantastic location and wonderful staff. In-room android phone was a real plus to take along for mapping and internet connection on excuraions. Saved me quite a bit of int'l data use.

On a small street, off a main one, this gem offers luxury, superb service, convenient location and an all around good experience. Way better than any chain hotel (including the Ritz and the like) this boutique has figured out what works..nothing too big or too small..their friendly and personable staff will take care of any issues or questions you may have!!

Very nice stay. Good staff, very friendly. Executive room a little cramped.
