Saint Georges Hotel

I was looking for a moderately priced room in the Mayfair area and found it at the St. George's. Convenient breakfast on top floor, with great views.

I was looking for a hotel that was close to the church we planned to attend on Sunday morning. I think I actually booked this hotel by accident, confusing it with another one of a similar name. Still, this hotel was within walking distance of our church. The hotel is centrally located, just a few blocks north of Oxford Circus, and is relatively quiet. The hallways seemed a little old and sketchy, and our room number was not actually listed on some of the direction signs within the halls. Still, we were able to find it. The view of London was great, ten stories up and offering a 270-degree view of the skyline. The room was clean but the bed seemed rather small for two people, smaller than either of the other hotels we stayed in.

Good location to Oxford Circus. Crappy mattress and sheets. Wifi is SLOWWWWW!! Show was fantastic though.

A basic hotel tucked just behind Langham Palace on Regent St, this hotel is somewhat away from the noisy street, but smack right in the middle of Soho and Piccadilly attractions. Wonderful hotel to introduce someone to the most lively area in London. Not a place for those who like nice amenities and luxurious feel. If you need a clean basic hotel room at an excellent location with professional staff, you cannot go wrong with this hotel.

it's a nice functional hotel and very close to the regent and oxford corner where there is mega shopping!!!

Close to Oxford Circus was the real selling point. Overall rather nice, but nothing stood out in particular. Some noise in the morning due to the construction they were undertaking. Free drink at the hotel bar when you check in was a nice touch.

I love staying here. The hotel is a bit dated and there is construction going on, but that's because they're in the process of renovating. I love the proximity of this hotel to Oxford Circus and how there are many shops and places to eat nearby. Keep in mind that they don't have a loyalty program so if you're a frequent visitor and collecting points is important, you may want to consider alternate option.

This hotel is located just up from Oxford Circus tube station. It has a great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is clean and comfortable. It has air-conditioning and a nice sized bathroom. The bed is comfortable and the view outside the front windows are fantastic. I've stayed in many hotels in London and this one will not disappoint. The rooms could use some updating but all in all are in pretty good shape. There are loads of places to eat and drink in the area.

An hotel looking a "little old", but very well located in Langham. It needs some remodeling to improve.

Great Location, Very Nice Business Hotel. Some odd quirks (space heater?). But free wifi and 2 bottles of water.

Everything was excellent! Hotel locate in the nice area, a lot of shops a restaurants around.

everything was excellent. Nice room, nice location in the middle of the city.

For a quick trip, the hotel was average, but in a good location. The staff friendly, but the rooms and overall hotel experience need much work to qualify for a 4 star rating. the rooms seemed tired and in need of soft goods and cosmetic restoration. In the closet where the safes are installed, the wall is not closed so you can see through to the room next door. Although a no smoking room requested, the room was obviously a smoking room as the smell of smoke permeated the room. Would not stay at this property again.

The location of this hotel was very convenient to the Oxford Circus tube station. Beyond that, the bed was not comfortable, it felt like we were sleeping on the floor. The room was a little warm so we tried turned on the room ac. While it cooled the room some, the system laboured to cool...never reaching the set thermostat temperature. Upon arrival we were asked if we wanted a newspaper and wake up call. we declined the call, but asked for a paper. We never received the paper. On a brighter note, there are several dining options nearby as well as several shops. In the future, we would pick another hotel.

This hotel was very well located ,but i have to say the consierge was awful!not helpful ,snotty and rude and totally unintersested in doing his job!The rest of the staff was very nice but as far as his being the hotels go to man he was pretty much useless and as a woman traveling abroad it would have been nice to be able to get help finding train station or booking my theater tickets ,non of which he wanted to do!
